Hey guys.

I'm curious in what my fellow RIO players think of the banking options out there and what are you reasons for using whatever you're using right now? I've been using a local bank "SEB" for as long as I can remember it, but I recently found myself paying 400$/month just for currency conversions USD <-> EUR and transactions fees, with relatively few transactions per month, no true multicurrency options, no BTC/Crypto support, rather slow support, mobile app full of bugs. So I'm starting my personal quest to look for something better.

My main criteria:
- Reasonable fees. I'm not against banks making money, but the transaction/currency exchange "rake" should definitely be capped.
- True multicurrency. Some banks only support multicurrency in a sense that you can receive foreign currency transactions and it will appear exactly so in your bank account, but you can't actually use those in any transactions, e-shops or ATMs, the only thing you can do with it is convert it into your "main" currency. So much for multicurrency.
- Banking Safety. No precedents for freezing accounts or allowing third parties to charge them for trivial reasons, also no bending over for
foreign goverments/authorities without court orders.
- Good support. Doesn't have to be live/on-call support, as long as they reply in 24 hours and have someone to actually read your emails and reply without copy pasting long non-relevant answers from answer sheets.
- At least somewhat modern. I've been to Hong Kong recently, registering my software company and after that I've attempted to open a bank local account in the HSBC - their online forms couldn't even support my full first name (which is 8 letters, the input was capped at 7, had to become "Ernesta"), and had big red flashy warnings to key in some fields in uppercase, as if it's too advanced to just convert it on their side, welcome to 2017? Got an overall feeling their online system is made and forgotten in 1980's.
- Auth safety. Two step verification system, unlimited length passphrase, easily deactivatable cards, proper IDS and so on.
- Secrecy. obviously would be a nice touch.
- BTC/Crypto support would be a nice touch.
- Mobile App would be nice.
