Progress Through the Continuous Struggle -- Dimes to Bills

After being a BE/slight winner through the majority of 2016, the two finals months completely obliterated me for 60 BI at 25NL and made me a losing player for the year (for some reason, it stings to say this). Upon review, the biggest mistakes during these months were attempting to fit in so many hands and not having a structure to my grind and study sessions.

I was seemingly grinding only to put the hours in, to maximize my hand count, decisions were half-assed and not thought out, ranges were not well constructed, calldowns had little reasoning behind them.

All of that is going to be minimized now. I would hope that I could say that it'd be all completely eliminated, but that is not realistic at this point in time. With that said, I do have other full-time commitments, poker is part-time for me. So that in itself is a challenge.

Have to take baby steps, we will eventually get to that point. For now, we have to taper down these zombie-like sessions, re-condition the mind and put in meaningful grinds.

So I am moving down stakes to 10nl, build my discipline, and make the climb back up and pushing extra hard to past where my peak was.

I am here to document, make myself accountable, and ultimately bring myself to the consistent winner I know I can be.

As a threadsaver, I will offer a freeroll giving 2x BI of my current stake (10NL) to the first 5 people to give a heart and post "in" if I am not a 3bb/100 winner at 10NL by the end of March. I will make a new freeroll once this one ends.

Good luck everyone!

Short-term goals (January):
[ ] Organization - Create a solid structure for grinding/studying
[ ] Confidence Booster - End the month with a profit (even if it is 0.5bb/100!)
[ ] Mindfulness - Meditate before each grind, and workout at least 4x/week

Long-term goals:
[ ] Don't move up stakes until you are a 3bb/100 winner over at least 50k hands
[ ] Put in at least 30k hands per month (regular tables)
[ ] Go from 10NL to 100NL by the end of 2017
[ ] Be a winning player at the end of 2017
[ ] Become a PIO guru
