Hi all,

I just wanted to hear some different stories and approaches to building up a bankroll to be able to start playing $1/$2 live. I'm currently working a few jobs to build up my roll, and Hopefully in 6 months I can start playing a bit more comfortably without having to worry about a downswing ruining me.

I was able to play for a month live at 1/2, but unfortunately had to stop due to living expenses arising. I was break even :/ I played for about two months on Ignition at 5NL and 10NL to be able to keep learning and working on my game, but once again life gets in the way and I had to cash out.

I know I want my primary source of income to come through poker, and I just need a little (but not so little) chunk of cash to get started.

How did you guys do it???
