Juan "xpastorcitox" Pastor (like a number of our coaches) first developed his passion for games at the age of 12 through chess. When some of his chess friends introduced him to poker, he quickly fell in love with the game and dove in head first. Though his early years in the game saw him toiling between different games and stakes, it was in 2013 when he qualified for the PCA that his professional career began. He quickly blew through the smaller stakes and landed at $500 zoom by 2014 where he made Supernova Elite. 2015 saw him back at the PCA where he made the final table in this go-round. In 2016 he dedicated his focus towards NL cash games and has since become a staple at $500z upwards of $10/$20 with the occasional $25/$50 action.

His first video gives a look into a typical session for him as he rips through hands trying to get into as many spots as possible while providing his thoughts in real time.
