Flushy textures

Hey Run It Once,

I'm just starting to learn to play seriously, so I'm trying to analyze situations as they come up. I'll try to post here occasionally if we find these to be good posts.

Hand 1:

CO opens to 3, BN (hero) calls,

Flop: Ks 9s 6s

CO checks, hero bets 6, CO raises to 18

Short hand, but I'm curious what you put everyone on here. What would you be betting on this flop (if anything) and why? (happy to reveal what I had and my thinking in a response)

But then additionally, I wonder, what in the world could be in CO check-raising range. I felt like he should have basically no check-raising range, so I was a bit confused. I wouldn't expect many nut flushes to check-raise, seems to me like they should check call. Perhaps your nut flushes with the lowest 2nd cards can check raise sometimes, because they don't block me from having any flushes.

So is he check raising with sets? KK, or 99 possibly. Or perhaps the naked As.

So, overall I guess I'm curious what is your betting range here for hero? Should this flop just go check-check the vast majority of the time? What is the standard line on this texture? and is there any check-raise range that can be played here?

Hand 2:

CO (hero) raises to 3, BN folds, SB folds, BB raises to 9, CO (hero) calls

Flop:
Kd 8h 9d

BB checks, Hero bets 8, BB calls

Turn: 3d

BB checks, Hero bets 10, BB calls

River: Jd

Now I'm curious what ranges you put everyone on here for each action. My assessment was that BB has {K9s+, KTo+, some combos of JJ, QQ, KJ, TJs ,A9, A8 I think he may occasionally have AQo or AJo too}. The interesting thing, I think, is that BB has to have almost no diamonds in his hand. None of his suited combos are diamonds because K, J block them.

So how does this river go down? Is it just a give up from BB a huge percentage of the time, or am I misreading something?

Thanks for reading, I look forward to your comments.
