AJo is quite difficult to play OOP! If the villain has high 3bet steal % and high fold to 4bet%, I would probably rather 4bet AJo! IP I would probably just flat (Ofc mixing it up some times)

3bet preflop is probably better, depends on villain ofc, but he should have a pretty wide CO opening range! AJo is not the easiest hand to play OOP without betting lead

I´ve heard from others that 5bb/100 is probably a winning player! Everything better than 10bb/100 is solid winrate!! Mine is around 12bb/100 (ABI $15)

3bet to protect your hand and to hopefully get headsup postflop! Easier to play the hand postflop also after 3betting.

PokerTracker4 is a must (both for HUD and for hand history database analysis)

The only problem with re-raising flop there is that the only hands he continues with are either hands with good equity (combo draws), hands that are already ahead of you or in the best case an overpair. I think it´s better to check-call flop, and maybe check-raise on a blank turn, so that you still leave him room to bluff and get most value from mid-strength hands!

Also the fact that you are both 50bb deep and on the bubble. Big $55 has a quite tasty min-cash as well, around 2.5-3x, so pot controlling in close spots on the bubble is never too bad.

Hands that you don´t want to bet-call are better to open push with, hands like 55-99, KJs, KQ, AT, AJ :) Hands you open 2x with are inducing hands + weaker hands you can fold to 3bet shove (to balance)
