Henry, why do you not like PIO? If you were to give me one way to study and improve for the rest of your career, what would it be?

IMO you are the GOAT. Big fan of your work.

Cory I am little confused here. Your CPA says paying money on only withdrawals is ok? I always thought that in the USA you had to pay it on all winnings, regardless of if they were in the account or not.

newb question -- can you further clarify what you mean when you talk about your range being asymmetrical?

Hi, blinds 500/1000 with a 100 ante. UTG has been limping everything and is very fishy, not worried about him at all. The raiser has been playing a fair amount but seems to be about an "average" reg, playing a fair amount of hands but not everything. I think that he could be iso'ing the fish light. How do you proceed? Top 15 pay and there are about 35 left. I am a below average stack.

Hi Luc, nice vid. I am still confused on the nash equilibrium results of ICMizer. For example, you can do the ICM calc and then have nash calc tell you something completely different. I guess I still don't understand the purpose of the nash calc in ICMizer since it seems to both shove and call wider even though these don't necessarily reflect accurate ranges.

I would like to see more like this with a new line next time

The solvers in these spots would like do some kind of mix between both checking and betting. With the AJ it's really a mix between check and bet, this can depend on your opponents, stack sizes, a variety of things. I have found that not many people are folding to cbets in the MTTs I have been playing so that might make me more likely to check or double barrel. For the kings hand in general I am checking that turn. The solver would likely say there is some checking and some betting but I would imagine that it leans towards c/c on that turn. Mostly to make sure that you still have strong hands when it looks like you are giving up on the turn.

Thanks. I actually use ICMizer, but I should have been more specific here. I was actually inquiring as to what I should be doing (is it just push/fold or is there a room for a raise) if there is room for a raise, to what size?

I have just above average stack. 4th get $18 and top 3 get seats into a $44. I just wondered what ranges you guys are playing in this spot (I cover BB but not SB with an ace on the button). Does your strategy change if this is an MTT vs a satellite?

$109 buy-in, 135 runners, 48 left, top 18 pay normal MTT structure. Average stack is about 28k, hero has 20 BB. Blinds are 500/1000 with a 100 ante. What is the approach here? Is anything other than shove an option? I decided to go all-in because I covered everyone on my left, typically I might raise to 2.5x. Does raising to 2.5x here lead to less variance? My gut feeling is that I need to approach MTT from a perspective of survival and I open shoved here which sees to contradict that view. What is your general strategy in these spots (with these stacks etc.)

Hi, I am reviewing some of these Fedor vids and typing hands into my ICM machine and there have been a few spots where Fedor should have been able to shove any two cards at equilibrium (IE I am running into spots where Fedor is missing shoves that are unexploiteable) So who is right the GOAT ICM software (ICMIZER) or the GOAT donkament player (Fedor Holz)?

I mainly want to play HU sngs to get more comfortable in that 15-30 BB range which is a place where I really struggle.

It's counter-intuitive for sure. I would have assumed this was a push before looking at the numbers.

Ok so I only have about 3bb when I get dealt 94o in the BB. MP min raises.... I am actually about 45th in chips and top 45 pay, there are 60 left now.

Am I committed with any two cards or should I try to make it another round?

Post | Le_Cho posted in NLHE: Any places to learn HU sngs?

Hi,

I have been looking for resources to learn heads up sit and goes but almost everything seems to be completely dated or not available. Is there a place to go today that would allow me to learn about heads up sit and goes?
