I'm a microstakes player and I would learn to build my ranges in a relatively simple way ( but mathematically). Any tips?
I can use equilab, snowie, HM.
I think it's important to have some reads about the population's tendencies.

calling 3bet with 44 from CO vs SB

Can I starting bluff with this hand OTF after SB check?

I'm not sure if I have too much SDV to turn my hand into a bluff.

My plan is to barrell OTT & OTR when board is good for my range.

As played, should I bet OTT?

Floating flop is due to a bit more playability of my hand (backdoor flush).
Reasonable your considerations about the call preflop and OTF.
I fire big on the river because more than a reg sometimes herocalls with A high.
Thank for your interesting answer, I made many "little" mistakes in this hand.

thank you, I'll cut my 3bet range!

After posting the hand, I was in doubt about my 3betting range SB vs CO.
I 3bet this hand because field overfolds 3bet (and a bit for boarding coverage), but probably this reason isn't enough.
What combos do you prefer in this situation (better than A2s-A5s ? A9s - A7s ?
My ranges are changing, because I always realize many new concepts.

Totally agreed with you, I would check the river close to 100%.
Checking or not my overpair OTF depends from CO. Bet (big size) versus a fish for exploitative reasons, but check very often overpairs vs reg ( checking most of the times the bigger ones ).

cash game 6-max
CO open 3bb, SB 3bet 12bb, CO calls.
hero: Ac 3c
FLOP 7c 4c 3d

I think this flop is better for CO range. So, I'm start with check OTF.

CO bets 1/3 and I call.

TURN Jh

check - check

RIVER X

My question is related to the possibility of a bluff OTR (with a big size like pot or 150%pot).
What kind of runout is better for our range ?

Obviously, I refer to a card doesn't complete flushdraw or improve our pair.

thank you for your usefull answer.

First of all, I would set both ranges, looking at the "standard" for NL10.
UTG: 55+, A6s+, BRs, T9s, AJo+, KQo.
*BRs is for broadway suited.

BB:

UTG range contains about 63% of Ax or Kx
BB range contains about 44% of Ax or Kx

On A84 UTG should bet more frequently (small size, 1/3) because there are lot of hands of the BB range with a decent equity vs 8x for example.
On AK8 UTG should bet less frequently (big size, 1/2 or 2/3) for the same reasons you showed before, there are much less hands in the BB folding range OTF with a decent equity vs Kx for example.

Sorry if I made mistake, I'm not sure if I catch the point.
What do you think about the ranges used? Too tight also for NL10?
Thank you

6-max cash game table,
UTG opens 3BB, all fold, Hero (SB) raise 12BB, UTG calls.

Hero hole cards: AhKh

FLOP

Qd Tc 6c

Hero bets 1/3 pot, UTG calls.

TURN

What about the second barrell OTT?

April 9, 2022 | 9:53 a.m.

As regards the UTG vs BB spot, what are the main points?
I imagine the answer depends from how much is A-heavy the range of BB (in comparison with the MP one).

April 9, 2022 | 9:45 a.m.

so the standard play here is XC?
no check raising range here?

April 8, 2022 | 6:40 p.m.

Hi everyone, I recently saw videos on YT about this topic.
For example, hero opens form the SB with Ah5h and BB calls.
What's the best move on a board like 8d 6c 2h ?
Is there only one best move here?
I think there isn't any big range advantage.

I refer to the structure of my hand

Aug. 16, 2018 | 2:09 p.m.

Hand History | arcotangente posted in PLO: facing cold 4-bet preflop
Blinds: $0.05/$0.10 (4 Players) CO: $9.75
BN: $8.01
SB: $11.55 (Hero)
BB: $9.98
Preflop ($0.15) Hero is SB with K T J 9
CO calls $0.10, BN raises to $0.45, Hero raises to $1.55, BB raises to $5.20
His range is AA heavy, of course. After the use of equilab, here we have 42% aganist random Aces. Due to the capped range of BB, to the suitedness and connectness, what's the best movie and why ?

Aug. 8, 2018 | 8:31 a.m.

Without any info about who leads on the flop, How do you think about fold ?
At PLO 10 usually in spot like this, BB on the flop has a middle-stronge range or not ?
Bluffing makes sense? What am I missing ?

July 22, 2018 | 11:13 a.m.

According to the capped range of BB at these limits, your QQJ7 with no suited could be a quite easy fold. OOP I think you don't realize very often you equity imho, I'm a low stake player like you. I prefer a more tight approach in this spot, if you don't have particular info about BB.
