as far as adjusting to WSOP vs other tournaments, online tournaments...etc. I find that WSOP rec/older players are more likely to evaluate a bet size for how it relates to their stack, and not necessarily to the pot. Every tournament has some people like this, but I find more at the WSOP than anywhere else I play. So if they have 10k behind and the pot is 500, if you bet full pot they're probably calling with their flushdraw, middle pair etc. But if everything else is the same, except the pot is 10,000 and you bet pot or even half pot, they'll fold. So basically you can value bet much bigger when you're deep and then you can get folds easier when you're shallow. Do you find this to be a true adjusment that you make at WSOP? or am I being overly simplistic?

maybe this is something I could just configure in my settings but I wish inside the video player there were an option to rewind or fastforward 15 or 30 seconds. I'm often taking notes and then miss something I want to hear it again. dragging the "play" progress bar is quite imprecise sometimes taking me back a minute or more...

clarification around the 27:00 mark where you are advocating limping J9o on button then folding to a 2.9x raise from BB. I understand why you're saying it's a fold, but we're still going to be calling in position getting good pot odds here with a ton of our limping range, correct? just not this specific hand?

Am I correct in understanding J9o is near the top of your limp/fold range as you would limp/call slightly stronger hands? I was really shocked to see you fold this is why I'm trying to dissect this with a fine toothed comb. I could see myself getting into trouble here calling with my level of post flop skills, but with your level of post flop skills I would expect the J9o to still be a proftiable call as you're not going to make many post flop mistakes in position.

Also, what about techinically "weaker" hands that are more live such as 46s?

Somebody else asked this same question, but I didn't see an answer yet. Basically I'm thinking Monster Draws need to be called out separately but I'm not 100% sure how to do that. I'd guess that effective stack size is a big factor....if our stack size is such that we could be happy getting it in on the flop, then we bet more often? and if we're really deep we check back more? obviously villain tendencies matter a lot too...

I had this same exact question. I generally agree with the polarized Cbetting strategy as presented, but I think that monster draws should be barreled vs most opponents. maybe I'm wrong? plus if we get check raised it gives us something to 4bet with.

loooked up from feverishly scribbling notes long enough to to say: "Thanks for making this video series!" it's great information, but also so well explained.
