I had to retire from poker I guess to get video reviewed by Phil. :)

You are right, I don't consider hero calls enough. I was used to playing no limit on softer euro sites for many years with great winrate and the right adjustment there was to overfold. This still has impact on my play, but zoom 1/2 plo on stars is probably to tough to assume that.

Post | snakewhite posted in Chatter: What diet do you follow?

What type of diet do you guys follow? In last 3 years I changed my eating habits and insted of eating junk food I tried almost everything. I tried typical fitness diet, ifym, keto, paleto, vegetarian for short periods. I still haven't found diet that would keep my weight normal without experiencing hunger. I think human should be able to feel satiated after meal but it just doens't happen for me. I lost about 20% of my weight in first few months after stopped eating junk and then maintained that weight. But it is hard and I stuggle. What plan do you guys follow and why. I currenty just eat as unprocessed food as I can but can't decide what macro ratios should I have. I have no fitness goal just want to be health and have slender body. I am thinking about trying something like eating low reward food, so that would mean food without seasoning, salt (drink it with water later if needed), added fat so maybe body could get better signals when it truly hungry. I search internet and try different ideas. The problem is there is so much conflict in information and both sides of argument make sense a lot of the time.

Thank for reading and hope for some fine answers.

Bumping this thered. Anyone else has view on diet? I tried low carb, high fat for few months. It is much better for satiety, downsides are that volume of food is smaller then high carb diet and you don't get that full stomach so that takes adjustment, it was also bad for playing tennis I was less explosive compared to higher carbs.

From health stand point I think its worth trying, I had problem with my weight and also have history of diabetis and obisety in family so limiting carbs is better for me.

I realise that folding in this spot means he can bluff any hand but I don't know if he has enough air /semibluff combos on the turn to exploit me. A lot of player would probably aise all 9 combos in this big of a pot oop.
I think giving up free card card with pot to stack ratio this shallow is a bad idea. I probably want to bet whole range in this spot.

I play tournaments very rarely so I don't want to put much effort in getting good but I want to watch few videos to get basic tips. My main game is no limit zoom 100 or 200.

What laptops are you guys playing on. I am looking for a laptop to play 4 tables when I am away from home, but I don't know what screen size to choose. I am looking into thinkpad carbon x1 that is 14 ultrabook, very light and portable. Would it be comfortable to play on that small of a screen?

Hi.

After playing 6 max no limit mostly midstakes on european sites where I had good winrate form 2008 to 2013 I made a break from poker and I played very rearly in 2014. I tried to beat zoom as its so fun format but failed and I broke even after many hands after rakeback. Games got tougher and I am stuggling to win now. I was so used to my expoitative style crushing, but now its important to play good "gto" game. I watched almost every video from elite coaches, read Jandas and Tiptons books and I fixed some leaks in my game but I stil have a lot of thing I can improve on. I think that at this point getting some kind of longterm coaching deal is best for me. It can be no limit and I am also prepared to transition to plo as it is game I enjoy also but I played only 200k hands of plo lifetime but that was few years ago. I don't know what kind of deal is fair and if its even worthwhile for someone to do project like this in todays games. I don't want to study on my own as the progress is to slow and I need some fresh perspective on my game as I don't have any poker friends to talk strategy with.

Thank you for reading.

Nice videos. Around 55 you quickly fold AT, why don?t you consider 3 bet with this hand since it one of the best hands that fold preflop and has best blockers? How do you pick your bluff 4 bets here?

Jan. 25, 2015 | 9:29 p.m.

I have a question about a spot in small pot with 87o on A44 at 37:30. What hands do you defend against half pot bet here. It looks unimportant spot but spots like this happen a lot. How do you decide what hands to float here? Every Ace, 4, backdoor flush draw, K high? I go by feel here and probably overdefend or underdefend here becouse of that.

Has anyone tried to play poker when trieng to lose weight or when being on low carbs? I was wondering if you play worse or maybe be more likely to tilt?
