Been getting crushed lately so figured I would a hand and ask for feedback.
Hero ($1,840) limps in for $20 in the Cutoff with QsTd , BTN raises to $80, fold fold, and I call. I could 3bet for info but I am out of position and prefer to play smaller pots out of position.
Flop ($190) QsKd3c. I lead for $75 to take control of the pot. He foils my plan and raises to $265. I decide to call because I think he has been aggressive and might see my bet as weak.
Turn Jd ($720). I check and he bets $475. I am a little worried that he turned me with JJ because I think he'd raise to see wheres he on the flop with that, but I dont think I can fold. I call.
River 7c ($1670). I decide to lead all in because I wouldnt know what to do if he bet and I dont like getting bluffed in big pots like this. I think its a good range merge because he could call me light not believing me with a hand like TT or 99 but also might fold AK/AA or 2 pair, fearing the 3 card straight out there.
Unfortunately for me, he got lucky on me and had AT for the nut straight. I knew I had him on the flop and he sucked out. Thoughts on way I played? I think that on river he folds without that and I had good draw on turn so had to call.
