Ergonomic Mouse or Mouse Alternatives?

I think there is good value to be had from having a comfortable setup. I have some minor tension from using a computer mouse, rapidly clicking away during poker sessions and a lot of starcraft and FPS games. I am trying to use an xbox controller wherever possible, but its not that efficient at moving the mouse around, so I am wondering what others are using for an ergonomic mouse? I have tried the evoluent vertical mouse a long time ago, but found it clunky to move around. I currently have a logitech G700s and its not great, its quite tall and stressful for the hands. I am considering an Anker 2.4g mouse along side a Kensington Orbit trackball which I just ordered. Does anyone have a mouse they love? Anyone receive wrist strain/hand positioning relief from any alternatives? Thanks!

FWIW: I got a lot of value out of a Geekdesk, a standing/sitting desk. I think it was an amazing buy, it is probably similar to sauces treadmill desk without the treadmill. Similarly, I am using a high end mechanical keyboard, which was a big step up from the plastic logitech M series keyboard I was using previously, and I would recommend people ditch uncomfortable grinding accessories, its probably as taxing on the health as it is uncomfortable.
