Hi guys, my name is Pedro and I have 23 years old, I study jazz more specifically vocals and guitar. I am from Portugal so English is not my first language but bear with me :)
My main poker goal now is moving up from 2NL to 10NL. The first time I played poker was around 2010 when a friend of mine told me to download PokerStars and play with him. None of us really know what was doing but I really like the idea that you could make a living playing a game. Since that time I played poker occasionally, in 2015 Portugal start the process of legislation online gambling, for about a year we couldn't play online poker, only at the end of 2016 we could play poker again but only at PokerStars. We are now waiting to enter the shared liquidity market between Spain, France and Italy. So, for now, I will have to play at PokerStars.
I will try to update this journal daily with hands that I played or some funny thing that happened to me that day just for mixing things up a little bit.
I also like reading, currently, I'm reading " Grinder's manual" and "1984" from George Orwell. Any books recommendation are welcome.
About music, I started to play guitar when I was 13 and since then I played piano and start singing. It's funny to look back and see where I am now and where I was 10 years ago, I didn't like jazz at all! I only cared about metal and playing Metallica songs. Another funny thing I started to sing because of Metallica frontman James Hetfield, and now here I am singing Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald.
As part of my Jazz studies, I listen to an album a day and today I listen to "Soul Station" by Hank Mobley. It's an amazing album!!
I don't know if I can post links to youtube videos but go listen to "Dig Dis" it's my favorite tune from that album.
As a final note here my graph:
P.S: No pun intended :D
