Poker and Life in 2022 (SSNL+)

What’s up RIO!

About me:
- Played poker as a small winner for ~5 years before deciding to take the game more seriously when I graduated last summer.
- Moved up from 25/50nl to 100/200nl playing close to full-time since.
- Member of NachosPoker CFP.

I feel like I'm finally on the (or a?) path - with the help of all the Nachos guys - and want to fully capitalize on the opportunity of playing 'professionally' by realizing my potential. So that's why I decided to create a thread; to challenge myself to become the best poker player I can be, and to take you with me! You can expect goals, results, reflections, etc.

The focus right now is on building systems that foster consistency; a trait I've tended to be severely lacking in. With James Clear's “Habits + Deliberate Practice = Mastery” equation in mind (I just finished reading Atomic Habits), I created a simple habit tracker. I want to achieve these things 6 days/week, which should equate to ~40 hours of playing/studying poker. I also want to score an average weekly performance of 4/5 (or good, where 1 = very poor, and 5 = very good). The idea is that the right practices will help me to routinely improve, and trend towards high stakes over the coming months and years.

In terms of goals for the year, I want to play >400k hands and establish myself at mid-stakes(+).

Let's goo! <3
