Brian Hastings has been a staple in the poker world for the better part of the last two decades. Having gotten his start like so many others in home games with friends, his recreational interest turned serious when he discovered one of his teachers with making more money playing poker online than from his teaching job. His approach to the game has taken many incarnations over the years with his current style being rooted in theory and solver work with mixed exploitative adjustments where warranted. He's honed his skills at a variety of poker variants throughout his time as a professional though his recent focus has been split between MTT's and NL cash games.
