Stop be a maniac! Just relax and play your A-game - journey to become better player

Hello,

So I decided to create this thread because I am struggling a lot with playing way to many tournaments and treating poker like something to kill time. Of course that's not very profitable approach to the game, which of course ended up not so good for me. In simple words I am a losing player. I also have some tendency to have very bad tilts which are influencing my personal life and the way I behave. I finally decided to do something with this, and I am hoping that journal will help me to have better control, on all aspects of the game. .

The main idea behind this post is to keep track of the tournaments which I am playing, with the summary of each one, perhaps with general opinion what I could done better and main thoughts regarding particular MTT.

So to sum up, after each session I will put information what tournaments have I played, information about the bankroll and perhaps the most interesting hands or the hand which I was struggling the most.

I will try to put my feelings here so I won't hold on to them after each tournaments. I am very excited to start this journey and happy that finally I decided to do something with my game. The thing is that I know that I am quite good player, but I am terrible with emotions, and they are to often interfere with my game, making me much worse player than I could be.

In the same place I want also to start work on my strategy. I just started my subscription here, the plan is to improve each aspect of the game, step by step starting with the preflop strategy. The plan is to watch on video on daily basis, watch and of course understand this.

When not playing, but studying I will also put my thoughts in regards to specific aspect of what I will be learning at the moment.

So here it goes. That's my plan, wish my luck and feel free to contact if you have any thoughts, recommendation or even a bit of criticism.

My current bankroll is 250$.

I will be playing MTTs which are less than 10$.

I won't be playing more than 5 tournaments during one session, and up to 3 simultaneously.

Plan is to double up bankroll by the end of January 2022 (hopefully that can be reached quicker)

That's all for now! I will post the first summary's after the tournaments soon. I wish you all luck, let's roll it.

Cheers!
Zdr
