Can someone provide guidance on what they normally do for taxes? I know winning players have often paid taxes, with one of the most noticeable ones being Daniel Negreanu. The tax rate on gambling winnings appears to be 25%. There also appears to be a lower tax rate of 15.3% for the self-employed. I want to do the right thing, but just looking to see what other people do.
