I'm trying to find a computer that allows me to run PIO sims on, but also offers decent portability.

1)Intel i7, 4core 1.9GHz, 16gb RAM DDR3, Lenovo x1 Carbon
2)Intel i7, 6core 2.2GHz, 32gb RAM DDR3, Lenovo x1 Extreme
3)Intel i7, 6core 2.7GHz, 32gb RAM DDR4, workstation

I'm planning to go with 1) which is very portable and ultra light, but I'm willing to sacriface that if there is a massive difference between them in terms of the speed with wich they run solver sims.

Should I sacrifice portability and long battery range for better specs? How much of a difference would that make?
