Have i assessed this correctly?

Blinds: $0.05/$0.10 (6 Players) BN: $10.00
SB: $10.70
BB: $10.00
UTG: $15.26 (Hero)
MP: $15.22
CO: $13.32
Preflop ($0.15) Hero is UTG with A 8
Hero raises to $0.30, MP raises to $0.90, 4 folds, Hero calls $0.60
27 hands on villain, 22/19. No 3 bets from 13 opportunities

I would have his 3 betting range as TT+, pretty much all Axs, a few suited and unsuited broadways
Flop ($2.01) T T Q
Hero checks, MP checks
Turn ($2.01) T T Q Q
Hero checks, MP bets $1.30, Hero calls $1.30
River ($4.61) T T Q Q 8
Hero checks, MP bets $5.00, Hero folds
Final Pot MP wins $4.40
Rake is $0.21

River is a difficult spot, villain slight overbets pot. Initial thought is he is trying to steal a split pot.

However, he has uncapped range that can include TT+, Q and T Broadways. The only hand i am beating is KJ. Essentially i am hoping to catch a split pot.

Reviewing it post-game, to break even on a split pot, i need like 67% equity. On equilab my exact hand has 40% equity against my estimate of villain's range.

I think therefore fold is correct here? Doesn't feel good to fold what feels like an attempt to steal the split pot, but i think given his uncapped range i assessed it correctly?
