[NL2] PF 3bet with A9s vs underfolding villain

Blinds: $0.01/$0.02 (6 Players) BN: $1.18
SB: $2.00 (Hero)
BB: $1.31
UTG: $1.45
MP: $2.13
CO: $3.91
Villain is 23/14, Fold to PF 3bet after a raise is 36%. WTSD is 38%.
Preflop ($0.03) Hero is SB with A 9
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.05, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.17, BB folds, MP calls $0.12
Is this a good idea?
Flop ($0.36) A J 3
Hero checks, MP checks
Should I bet this flop OOP after a 3bet?
Turn ($0.36) A J 3 4
Hero bets $0.20, MP calls $0.20
River ($0.76) A J 3 4 A
Hero checks, MP bets $0.16, Hero calls $0.16
I did not raise here because I think villain has range advantage and he's more likely to have a stronger hand than mine. Is this thought process correct?
