Just something I've been wondering - I'm a fairly new returning player (from the glory days where it was simple to make money)

The game has obviously gotten a whole lot more difficult these days, what are peoples thoughts on someone essentially starting again? Is it worth me dedicating myself to the game again when in likely hood itll take me a couple of years to get decent again? Obviously I dont agree that poker is dead etc, but realistically am I wasting my time doing this?
