Trying to understand snowie xDD lets have a fun :D --- 1/4 pot over polarized sizing
UTG: $40.35
UTG+1: $54.29
MP: $49.25
MP+1: $84.96 (Hero)
MP+2: $50.00
CO: $59.34
BN: $52.23
SB: $59.09
however, imagine the river like 2s,3d,4s you know a card which changes nothing. Snowie still prefers 1/4 sizing as a default and I still cant digest it
Like our range is so polarized after the turn bet (no matter if we bet 100% or 200% of the pot) to a sets and FDs that it makes no sense to be using a de-polarized sizing especially if we have got enough bluffs to blast off..
his hand range: 43.82% sets, 10.21% two pairs, 3.46% one pair, 42.51% high card. He is suggesting to use 1/4 with 3.99% sets, 94.92% two pairs, 1.06% one pair and 0.03% high card --- where the f--k is the value:bluff ratio?? Oh.. I see after the turn 2x pot, snowie would fold 98.44% range in V shoes (I really like this "balanced solver:") so this has probably pretty big impact on the river strategy..
Like I would bet with 88,AA,99,A9s = 12 combos (have all those nutted combos since I am checking my whole range OTF). Having KcTc,QcJc,QcTc,KhTh,QhJh,QhTh, JTs = 10 combos maybe I might give up some Kx probably since they might have some non-zero amount of SD, but otherwise I like to just jam for 228% of the pot, I think after his turn call, his range usually isnt really set-heavy which might be a good opportunity for exploiting the pool though..
Am I just missing something and therefore the overbet is a mistake?
