Pre Flop: I think he is opening about 23% of hands or thereabouts. Looking back I think I prefer a 3 bet with this hand, as it will realise a lot of equity post flop and is a strong hand compared to his range.

Flop: OTF when he leads out, it does not really help me narrow his range down at all. It takes away all pocket pairs below 99 and removes most Ax suited combos. However, he is still betting with a lot of broadways which have top two pairs or used. Sometimes he will also have the nuts too which is not unlikely. I call which is I think is fine, folding is out of the question and raising only gets action with better hands.

Turn: When he checks the turn to me, I think that helps remove lots of strong two pair and straight hands from his range. However, I think he could easily have top pair but just be pot controlling here. I don't think he has spades as he would have continued barrelling when the spade came off. He most likely had a Queen or ten as he calls my bet, and I think top pair or stronger would have bet.

River: OTR when the third spade comes out it looks really good for my range, I would have played Ax spades like this and I could also have straights, which I slow played and am trying to get value from. I thought about it and decided that there was a possibility he could have a king and was worried about the straight and flush. I also considered the fact might have a queen.
My final thought was that I think he would fold a king to a large bet, as I would look very value heavy on a scary board.

Not sure if this was the right play.
