Not happy to get raised and think I should have opened a little smaller but I have a 25% chance of flopping a set so I call. If I hit a set and he has AA I can stack him and if MP calls as well I'm getting pretty good odds. Was this a mistake? I had opened trying to get HU

I could have checked to the raiser but I didn't want broadway draws to get a free card. I think top set is a favourite over anything but combo draws right? If he has a wrap he can have up to about 12 outs which makes it pretty close. I always think that top set should be played aggressively but this hand and the one posted below occurred in the first 5 hands I played today putting me into a hole right from the start.

He had AQssJ10dd which is a very good hand and it hit the board fairly hard. I was apparently 54% pf and 57% on the flop when all the money went in so that's ok I guess given the dead money in the pot. Do you usually play top set very aggressively against draws? Seems to be the way to go especially with no redraws but diamonds could have come too
