I, and a number of others, purchased group coaching sessions from Tom in ~ November 2017. His intermediate course cost $2,500 and he also ran courses at a beginner and an advanced level. He devised a thorough schedule, developed a structure that encouraged cross-collaboration, and brought together a diverse group of players. I have no issue with the quality of his offering. I do, however, take issue with the way he has handled the situation which came up at the end of the year.

I had felt that Tom's commitment to the course was dwindling - the initial zest with which he had been leading the class was less apparent and this may have been related to the message he sent out to students saying that his coaching will be suspended indefinitely due to personal issues toward the end of 2017. What followed was radio silence despite many attempts from different students in different groups to contact him through different media. It is disheartening to see that during said personal woes he managed to play in the Goliath Milly (http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=79360) but did not manage to solve the issues surrounding the courses. People wanted refunds. He messaged saying that he would prorate refunds on 7th August, but there has been no word since.
