was this a bad bluff?

BN: $323.86
SB: $204.10
BB: $550.02
UTG: $218.03
HJ: $392.60
CO: $504.83 (Hero)
Opponent is a reg playing 26/19/10. Not much about him stands out to me in particular.
Preflop ($3.00) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt 8 T 7 J
UTG folds, HJ raises to $5.80, Hero raises to $20.40, BN folds, SB folds, BB folds, HJ calls $14.60
Standard 3bet deep in position I believe.
Flop ($43.80) T K 2 (2 Players)
HJ checks, Hero checks
Given he's raised Utg+1 I think his range connects with this board reasonably well. He folds to cbets in 3 bet pots 37% which is lower than most players.
Turn ($43.80) T K 2 Q (2 Players)
HJ bets $28, Hero raises to $91.59, HJ calls $63.59
I decided to bluff raise with my open ender with plans to barrel blank and heart rivers with my Jh blocker. I think there are a lot of hands in his range that will peel the turn but fold the river.
River ($226.98) T K 2 Q 4 (2 Players)
HJ checks, Hero bets $156, HJ calls $156
Followed through on the river but he didn't take much time before calling, I think he already made up his mind to call down on the turn with his KK.
Final Pot
Hero has 8 T 7 J HJ has 7 Q K K HJ wins $536.18

I think one issue with my play is that I will often have AAxx in this spot and he might assume I would use my ace blockers to make this play. Perhaps it is too ambitious to try and only rep one hand in this spot (AJ)?
