Hello! A huge thank you again for giving this a view! You gave me lots to think about, esp. with the bet sizing.

PS! Yes. You did pronounce it correctly.

Hey everyone! I really wanted to form or join a study group for Micro/Small stakes on Skype. It seems like everyone here is really committed to improving their game so I thought this would be a good place to post. Anyways if you have any interest my Skype is CaitlinKiska. I am American but currently living in Vietnam and playing about 35ish hours a week on Stars.

Looking forward to hearing from you and good luck at the tables!

(PS I didnt see anything else on this site about micro/small stakes study groups so please excuse if there is a thread started somewhere else)

I am really enjoying that this site (and you) are doing these hh reviews. Its awesome that whoever gets their video picked is basically getting multiple hours of fairly personalized coaching for the price of their monthly membership. Let me know if you decide to do another!

Any comment on the hand as played? Specifically what to do about villains strange check raise? Thanks again :)

Im folding here and waiting for a better spot. Im basically only calling here with top 5% of hands.

Im in agreement with 50. I would be raising the flop. I would also give some thought to raising pre depending on the villains stats and table dynamics.

Really enjoyed this video. Detailed, concise, and excellent pacing. Keep up the good work! About to watch the others in the series!

I dont think viewing all the hands slowed the video down at all or created any pacing issues. Actually I think viewing all the hands adds an interesting perspective.

Any stats or reads on villain?

Thanks for the consideration everyone! At the time I checked planning to call the c-bet and reevaluate on further streets until he/she decided to make it well over 50% of the pot to call.

(In retrospect I would have gone with the 4 bet)

1-3: I feel the order one would consider hand strength/position/stack size would vary depending on the structure/speed of the tournament.

4: Rough preflop plan: Am I planning on folding to 3 bet from x, shove over 3 bet from x, flat call etc.

5: Rough postflop plan: Am I going to be easily chucking my hand if I dont make my set etc.

(Recently Ive been making a huge effort to take an extra minute to analyze my bet sizing and factor in how it will effect my bet sizing on subsequent streets. Sadly I am not doing this as often as I should be, though, So I cant add it to my list of things I actually regularly think about lol)
