Flop:

Is middle set on this draw heavy flop really a c/r? I call here.

are you mostly limping low quality pair hands? (22K8)

Just quick question here from a NL player learning some huplo. Whats approx the best button open size/% vs someone who is very loose (75%+ vpip) and and 3betting above 20%?

I've been 3xing about 75% of hands. what do you guys think?

horrific river fold because you are near the top of your range (if not at the top), and villian will be betting you off a split/bluffing way too often to fold. Preflop play is questionable, would need more info on both players to make the right play.

With a quick guess at BTNs flatting range, I think you have 80% equity vs range that sees this flop.

Vs his calling range, 75% ( assuming he raises non A high gutters and 88/JJ/jk)

Value betting looks pretty attractive to me when you consider how far ahead of his range we are + the fact that you will miss value bets vs the biggest part of his continuing range (1 pair hands that you beat)

well played, now check

You're about 32% vs KT, 44, KK, TT.

Direct odds are (26/74) 40.6% to call.

You are going to make a flush or straight ~ 50% of the time on the turn.

I would call because by calling you get to keep in any bluffs that he may have, which should rep the draws you hit.

I disagree that villian would ever flat strong vs a 3bet on this wet of a board.

I am trying to figure out why my evbb/100 is -106.50, I'll list all of the stats that I think are relevant. If I missed any that are crucial pls let me know.

There are all filtered for BB vs SB open:

evbb/100: -106.5

VPIP: 51%  --- Too loose?

3 Bet: 9.9%

Fold to flop CBET: 30%  --- Too loose?

Fold to turn CBET: 19% --- Too loose?

Fold to River CBET: 40% --- Too loose?

Won Hand: 30% ----- Looks low to me

Flop vs Bet Raise: 21.5%  ----- Too aggressive?

WTSD%: 25.5% ----- no idea what range this should be

W$SD%: 55.3%

W$WSF: 53.7%

Bet Flop vs Missed CBET: 60.5%  ----- Too aggressive?

What is a reasonable bb/100?

Which of these stats looks out of line?

Phil,

The J864ds hand where you 3bet OTB vs CO, flop 962r (backdoor spades for you) and check back:

This is a spot where you considered betting, but choose to check back due to fearing getting check raised. I know that I would bet here 100%of the time because my weak hand is unlikely to get to/win at showdown, and because I have no problem folding vs a check raise - because his check raising range will really dominate my hand.

Betting also allows us to get him to fold hands with lots of equity against us, and lets us (almost always)  take a free river card when called - letting us realize all of our equity when the flop c-bet is called.

Do you still think checking back is superior?

Since I cannot get the HH posting mechanism to work correctly I have attached a link to weaktight:

http://weaktight.com/6053737

My thought process:

Preflop: 4 connected cards in the BB vs a button open, good enough for a call but not strong enough for a 3bet.

Flop: Button will be betting lots of flush draws, 1 pair hands, some pair + draw stuff, made straights, sets, 2pair + draws.

I have a gutter to the nuts, backdoor higher straight draw, and a straight blocker. I want to have this hand in my CR range as it is too weak for a c/call, yet it can make a nutted hand, which is why I want to continue with it as a semi bluff. (Does anyone c/fold?)

Turn + River: My range is polarized here between made straights, nut flush draw (1 or 2pair going with it), stuff like gutters and blocker type hands. Since I have the 6 blocker, and villian has only flat called, I believe his range to be very light on made straights.

I think villian gets to the river with:  (few) straights, sets, 2 pairs, pair + missed flush draw.

If villian will/should fold everyone but a straight, I thought this would be a profitable bluff.

Now I am wondering if I just got carried away, and by the river villian will look down at his hand and call with all of his bluff-catchers because  (in his mind) I can have lots of missed flush draws (in reality I am not cr'ing non-NFDs) or have blockers.

What do you guys think?

Aug. 28, 2013 | 3:11 a.m.

Im wondering if there is a consensus here. I usually call pretty wide, most suited broadways, Axs, and pairs. I also try to flat half the time with my top 3% also.

what do u guys think?

Hi Odd, Thanks for a great video!

Would you please list the stats in your hud? It is quite helpfull for us to know all the inputs, even small subconscious ones.

I think its cool that u wanted to make a 9 tabling video. But with 9 tables, its impossible to follow + think + learn from this video. I mean look at PG's videos, they are the best on the internet and his average table # for a video is probably 2.5
