I am a regular in 500 games on Ignition. I find that the IP block river bet, like your student faced in the last hand, is quite polar. Either air trying to fold out missed draws or a nutted hand trying to get you to spazz. I have marked a looked up a bunch of these spots since you can look up all hole cards. Rarely thin value. Not sure bluff jamming vs such a range achieves much.

Oh yea def not assuming he has the nutted portion of his range. I was just pointing out that I am seeing people show up with AA in weird spots often.

That first hand where the guy cold calls the 4 bet. I am a regular in these games also. I have seen multiple hands like that where they show up with AA. I have also been seeing a lot of spots where reg fish/ 3xing regs over limp behind a whale or cold call like c/o and back raise vs a squeeze w the nuts. I spewed off several buyins thinking they were capped and spazzing before I realized.

I play in the same game. I agree it has been really soft lately. I am regularly finding myself on tables w 3 fish and 2 of the 3xing regs. Thought maybe I was crazy with all the Ignition Bots/ collusion shit that was spreading on poker twitter. Couple things that might help you. In the settings you can change 2.5x pre to be an option on the site along with other post flop sizes. Also the app display fusion will solve the 4 table resizing if you are using a monitor.

Would love some content on how to play in the blinds when the BTN straddle is on. I have debating playing a balanced limping strategy in this spot in splashy 9 handed games where raising doesn’t accomplish much. Limp raising a typical online 4bet range. Not sure if the BTN straddle is a thing in the UK like in America.

You have to click the hand history button next to the hand reply button on the top of each table and you can see whole cards. After a couple days you can even see whole cards for every hand not just show down hands.

Ur blockers are relevant in that they would make me feel comfortable betting turn for protection and checking back river. Obviously folding to a check raise. Pretty deceptive also when the A or T pairs on river..... Id guess a decent player would be leading those rivers with their busted draws and boats.

I have experienced that problem in the past. Changing the resolution solved it for me. Once the video starts click the settings icon and change to 1080 or 720 and see if that solves it.

Comment | DJAnsari commented on Bovada Pay Out Issues

I don't think they are having liquidity issues or the size of the transaction matters. I just think they have a third party doing sending out money probably for legal reasons. Just a guess but they are probably the cause to their occasional issues. I experienced the same issue recently but was able to cancel all of my pending withdrawals. I created a bitcoin account and made a minimal deposit to bovada to unlock the option on my account. My first bitcoin withdrawal of 9500 was sent less than 18 hours after I requested it. The second arrived 4 days after my request on Sunday night. I am guessing these are more reliable and Bovada doesn't charge a fee bc it anonymous and Bovada doesn't need a third party to process it.

I would cancel you pending wires and do bitcoin for sure. As for the 9500 your missing, you will eventually get refunded it just may take some time. I would just keep calling and bothering them.

The problem is that your not getting it in on the river unless you cooler them or they suck out. If you cooler them, money will likely go in regardless. $100, $250 and shove should do it if you get one caller but id size according to the run out. Size up on turn if it brings a FD or if you get multiple callers and size down if u turn them dead. Exploitatively speaking I'm not sure about the GTO play or how youd want to play your range. Not that it matters when flops are going five way.

Given SPR I would check back n try to rep QQ or JJ or bet small. You could easily get stacks in over 2 streets. Not to mention you block his calling range.

SPR less than 1 don't think I'm folding. However a turn bet might narrow his range to hands that crush you with the exception of AhJx. With the K of hearts, I usually check the turn and bluff catch river or value bet when checked to.

villain in the hand was not the pfr. villain defended straddle.

I would bet flop and plan on barreling any non board pairing card other than 9,T or J depending on the callers image. As played I raise turn for value the small blind could and should be leading a wide range. MP has a lot of one spade hands you want to charge. If I get 3bet I'm hating life and probably folding unless its vs a really tough opponent that might 3bet the nut blocker but that's pretty rare live. I'm bet folding any non spade river.

Given an SPR of less than 1 on the river I don't think you could ever fold without some sick read. However I agree that the only value bet he ever has is KK. Also your observation that he check called away $3k would lead me to believe KK is exactly what he has since he is taking an aggressive action. His small pre flop 3bet OOP solidifies the read that he only puts in huge amounts of money with the nuts.

Its easy when looking back and dissecting the info but in game given the SPR its almost impossible to fold IMO. Live players do occasionally spaze out or overplay hands as well. Sometimes you just have to payoff, this seems to be one of them.
