I agree, and acknowledge that this is not a crushing strat. That said, I have played some NL25 with reasonable results, and am confident that I'm a winner there, even if it's not for a significant clip. I am also aware of and willing to subject myself to the variance that comes w such aggressive bankroll management for the time being. This is the highest stake that I would practice such aggressive BRM, and will be utilizing a more conservative approach beyond this limit as I have never established myself at/played NL50+ in a serious way.

Thanks for the comments/support guys!

Just a quick one here. Poker has been mostly slow since posting, only managed a handful of short sessions 2-tabling PS reg tables while I try to focus on each spot and maximize WR. Quality of play has been mixed and not where I want it to be. I've decided to shift my study focus for now to re/building foundations, and will be reading The Grinders Manual and then probably TMGOP to cover both technical + mental game.

Will probably post results monthly, and will also try not to check them myself until then. For now have some HHs (feedback appreciated):

1 I think this is a board we want to be mixing on and KJ no club seems like a good Xb candidate. OTT in game I elected to underbet a wide range of hands since we likely Xb and get to the turn w lots of Ax, although I now think a more typical polarized sizing of 2/3-3/4 is going to work better here since V can have plenty of XRs still which punish our merged underbet. OTR I think we want to be betting big, possibly overbetting.

2 Not sure on underbetting flop + calling OTR. I think his river bet is value heavy given runout + sizing, talked myself into a call w good un/blockers (blocking missed draws).

3 Turn float + river play could easily be spew here, repping AA/KK OTR.

What's up RIO!

I'm a 21 y/o student from the UK and have played online poker for around 2 years, mostly splashing around the micro-stakes games (6-max cash).

Thought I'd start a thread for general accountability + blogging purposes.

I'm reluctant to set any concrete overarching poker goal/s for the year, and for the most part will likely stick with short(er)-term goals (updated likely weekly/monthly). That said, I will give an abstract aim for this blog/2020; to stabilize and optimize my approach to both poker and life. The exact manifestations of this aim, while ambiguous, will hopefully be widespread, and regard a reorientation towards an improved game/lifestyle.

I'm starting out with a $500 bankroll on PokerStars where I'm going to be playing NL25 (updated).

Will try to update minimum a few times per week with all the normal stuff, results/graphs, HHs etc.

I think that's everything for now - let's goo! <3
