Hero has AJ98ds in CO ($220) opens to $7 at 1/2

BTN fish ($65) calls

SB reg (covers) 3-bets to $30

Hero calls, BTN jams $65, SB jams $220 total

Am I supposed to call or fold? Can I fold to the initial 3-Bet?

at 41:30, whats your river strategy on a blank (3 or 2) river if you don't make a straight? Also, if the river is a K Q J or T, what would you do? Out of all your air on a non-straight river, how do you determine which ones to jam and which ones to check? Is it even practical vs human players to jam a blank river as a bluff in this spot?

I put it at 1.5x speed playback, you dont talk that fast

Do you always fold AJs BB vs MP 4-Bet or was that an exploitative play against Ignition pool?

Big fan of your videos generally, really like this interface as well

at 17:40 in the K7o vs 55 hand - do you mind Villains turn-call with an under-pair vs your 75% delay-bet?

May 7, 2019 | 5:45 p.m.

Follow-up to the K7s cold-call question:

Why do we get to call so much more IP in an MTT as opposed to a cash game?

Is it purely because of rake or is there another factor I'm missing?

May 1, 2019 | 10:44 p.m.

What is the reasoning behind cold-calling K7s BTN vs CO min-raise? How wide would you go in this spot with your cold-calling range?

April 25, 2019 | 9:21 p.m.

Are you defending any suited hand out of the BB vs under 2.5x open?

You always mention the spots that are +ev but wont allow us to retire from poker

Can you mention some spots that WILL allow us to retire from poker? :)

its possible you are not getting enough sleep

In the A3 vs K9 hand - PIO is actually checking back river with majority of AJs ATs JTo J9o T9o so is it possible Bit2Easy thinks Linus would bluff too many of those

Why do you sometimes 3-bet large and other times 3-bet very small? I noticed BTN vs CO, one time you 3-bet to 2.3x and another time to 3.5x

Dec. 14, 2018 | 10:38 p.m.

In PIO, QQ with no heart is mixing jamming turn and betting 1/2pot. Its taking both actions about half the time and never checking.

CO is calling AxKh at 100% frequency vs a jam. PIO even recommends calling jam with 5h5x at 100% frequency vs a jam

Seems like teuness played the hand fine and his analysis of his opponents play was accurate.

he never called ankhes a weaker player throughout the entire video

Tightening up in any scenario can never really be "atrocious". Even if its not the most optimal play (which I still think it is), how much money are we possibly going to lose by folding hands that are close to 0ev?

Oct. 20, 2018 | 1:46 a.m.

Because this 3rd blind is extremely common in live poker which I am quite experienced in. Its very likely this is what he is talking about. He definitely doesn't mean ante otherwise he would have said ante rather than 3rd blind.

Why did you put tightening in quotes?

Hypothetically, if there was a 6-blind game (Quadruple-Straddle), you would almost certainly want to play very tight from the BTN with 6 players left behind you. Whereas if there was only 1-blind, you would want to be extremely loose. That indicates you should overall be tighter in a 3-blind game than a standard 2-blind game.

He means straddle

I've usually tightened up slightly from all positions in 3 blind games and tightened up significantly from SB

Oct. 9, 2018 | 10:55 p.m.

Before you start analyzing a spot, could you specify which table you are talking about?

Oct. 8, 2018 | 10:51 a.m.

He is implying that those hands get 3-bet

Sept. 27, 2018 | 1:38 a.m.

at 9:00, why didn't you jam flop with A5dd?

Sept. 17, 2018 | 5:55 p.m.

I have PIO Edge - where are you seeing or creating preflop solutions? Such as the QJs hand? I'm not seeing any 4-bet ranges or anywhere for it to solve BB vs BTN 4-bet spot

Aug. 8, 2018 | 5:15 p.m.

is that QTo Call SB v BTN with 15bb at 20:30 a good play pre-flop?

June 25, 2018 | 9:57 p.m.

Can you explain more in depth the strategy behind 4-betting 22 and jamming 22 over the BB's 3-bet? Are you saying some players jam 100+bb over a 8bb 3-bet with 22 and that they need 65% folds to make this profitable?

June 21, 2018 | 11:40 p.m.

in the QJss hand on A94ddd board, what hands is the recreational player going to fold vs your check-raise? Is he folding a lot of Ax hands or is it mostly 9x, Pocket-Pairs, and Flush-Draws that get folded?

June 15, 2018 | 8:14 p.m.

Global Poker

Opponent is recreational player, not playing full-stack - the only thing my notes say is he limps sometimes and opens sometimes pre-flop.

Hero open BTN $6 with 75s, SB calls.

Flop ($14) Q43r SB checks, BTN bets $4, SB calls.

Turn ($22) 5r SB bets $12, BTN calls.

River ($46) 3 SB bets $36, Hero raises to $123.36 all-in

This type of move isn't a big part of my game right now but I thought since I had blockers to straight and full-house and could have a bunch of full-houses, straights, and over-pairs myself that it might be +EV. Do you think this is a good spot to bluff-raise the river?

May 9, 2018 | 8:20 p.m.

at 6:00 with the set of 77, would you have also called the raise vs a bigger size?

Aug. 28, 2017 | 5:53 p.m.

in the first hand you reviewed, is A5s always a call for you from BTN vs UTG tight player? Why?
