Always knew he was a crusher from his first videos at Leggo, but that is some crazy results compared to the rest of the field!

That's a good idea. I've always found I play better when I don't know if I'm up or stuck. Anyone who says it doesn't affect them is either very skilled or lying! lol

Interesting as I am the same — I don't play it super often but do enjoy it. I sometimes prefer to play the HU sitngos because no one can hit and run you there lol. Simpler game of course, so it's good for just dabbling with it, and helps me feel comfortable when I get HU in tourneys.

Comment | Feynman commented on $25/50 Shot Take

I just don't know where to start with this HH — I'm pretty sure it's a troll. You haven't really asked a question.

You min raise him to "see where he's at". What are you wanting him to do here? Call? Fold? What are you repping?

Oct. 23, 2016 | 8:44 p.m.

You should give him a reduced rate for the first one or two to get the feeling for it — say $100. You could also go pro bono to build your coaching skills if it was something you wanted to do more often, but everyone is out to make money I guess. That would be a good chance to see if you are good at it, if you are articulate with your thoughts and feel like you can provide the student with good value.

Good to see that fishy minraises happen even at these stakes lol

Comment | Feynman commented on learning

I think you should do it sequentially and build on things bit by bit. There is no rush — just try and get better every time you play.

For example, you could start with your opening ranges and understanding your opponents ranges. Then look at Cutoff/button play, or how to play in the blinds etc. Before long you will have this huge knowledge base and your game should reap the rewards!

I got run over by the deck today, but managed to keep it pretty focussed and was quite pleased. It certainly can be tough to keep up that level so well done man!

Oct. 17, 2016 | 3:40 p.m.

Yeah it's all about attitude. GL with it though! Main thing is to enjoy the challenge!

Oct. 15, 2016 | 1:22 p.m.

Pick something to concentrate on for the week or a few sessions at least. Say for example, you want to look at your opening ranges in certain positions, focus on 3B pots or Btn vs blind situations etc. If you just work away at one topic at a time, you'll be beating the limit by a good clip before you know it.

I think the first thing to address though is these blowups you mentioned. As soon as you feel your mental game slipping, you should quit. Everyone struggles with this, and me especially, but it is something I'm getting better at now.

Comment | Feynman commented on HM2 or PT4

I always used and like HM in the past, but moving to a Mac only PT4 works on it. They are now both part of the same company, and it does the job for me, but I suspect HM2 is slightly better and more user friendly.

Even when you think you have your tilt and emotions under control it comes back to bite you. I done it myself recently and dropped a number of buyins needlessly and then continued to play and spew. Got to be super focussed and resilient! Wish I could put in your volume, but just never taken to zoom.

GL man!

Nice man. I've been wanting to learn PLO for a while but just never taken the jump and started. Will follow along — GL!

Comment | Feynman commented on Zoom winrates

I think you hit the nail on the head with your statement "doing the opposite of what most regs seem to think is correct". I've been experimenting recently, albeit on regular tables, and I've manage to convince some regs that I'm fishy, so they jump to my left and I end up taking all their money. It's great fun to play around with lines and what is considered standard.

Oct. 8, 2016 | 12:09 p.m.

Great job in turning it around, Saulo!

Oct. 7, 2016 | 11:54 a.m.

I didn't look at the stats as couldn't see them, and I'm not as qualified to talk about this as some here, but it seems to me that you are probably giving up a lot, perhaps not fighting for pots or stealing enough as your redline is basically cancelling out your blue line. Perhaps a reduction in tables, allowing you more time to think might help your WR? Definitely worth doubling or tripling your win rate and only playing two thirds of your normal volume for example.

Best of luck!

Oct. 6, 2016 | 7:08 p.m.

Just play solid. Trying to rep the nuts when you can't really have it against a nit with a set is never going to work. As soon as you feel you are tilting, step away because it's far more likely you lose another few buyins than make them back up. Emotional IQ (EQ) is probably the biggest skill you can have at the micro limits.

Oct. 5, 2016 | 12:02 p.m.

That OTB thread that Zenfish posted is sick! Crazy that he played micros around about the same time as a lot of us in 2010. That Verneer series was very good. I then played low and midstakes for a few years and then stopped enjoying playing so much and eventually completely stopped in 2013 until around two months ago — wish my story was more like his! Just kept crushing his way to the top sitting at 40kNL lol! Sick, sick life!

You should probably play shorter sessions. Perhaps 90 minutes to 2 hours then you take a five minute break to stretch your legs and get fresh air. I prefer to play shorter sessions than that even. Because you are playing Zoom, it really is easy to just pause a session or stop and come back to it an hour later etc.

Sept. 29, 2016 | 5:29 p.m.

Ah that's interesting. I've never really taken rake into consideration but obviously should.

Sept. 29, 2016 | 5:18 p.m.

Links are working yeah. A raise is good here as he can have plenty of draws which he will call with.

Comment | Feynman commented on rebuy zoom 500

Not that I want to speak for Sauce, but I think it's because his account is obviously setup that way for high stakes. You have an advantage as you get short vs full stacks; your winrate increases.

Sept. 29, 2016 | 12:29 a.m.

Yeh, I agree with Kalupso. I think most of these limits will play the same up until around 25NL, so move up as soon as you feel confident and have the bankroll.

You need a bit of knowledge, self-discipline and some common sense and you will crush the next level up and the next one again — go for it!

Sept. 28, 2016 | 11:53 p.m.

No there are no ante Zoom tables, but worth playing for an occasional change perhaps!

Sept. 28, 2016 | 11:35 p.m.

As I mentioned in your previous thread, I played some hands between 10NL and 25NL as I was curious about your challenge and another thread about the redline. You should definitely try and get on all the ante tables — they are super +EV.

Sept. 28, 2016 | 11:22 p.m.

Yeah, well done! GL at the next level. I think you should just grind the next level until you have enough to move up again. If you are beating it for a decent clip, then move right up!

Comment | Feynman commented on hand #1 27/09/2016

You've not asked a question here, but here's how I would play it if I did 3bet:

Firstly I would make the 3b slightly larger as a standard. On the flop, the bet is fine. I would use a smaller sizing around 1/3P probably as I've quite liked that in Sauce's videos. Turn I am probably checking as we can realise our equity by seeing the river.

You haven't given any stats or reads on what the player does post flop in 3B pots, so I would probably play quite straight forward at 25NL. I am curious as to why you decided to 3B this hand anyway?

Comment | Feynman commented on Scripting??

Yeh I would play on iPoker if they had a client version that worked on the Mac. You get fantastic rake back deals on there. The software major sucks though!
