I am sorry to hear that Pokerstars suspended your account, but this is great for the long term health of the game. It is good that the sites are a bit overcautious, rather than do nothing. This will prevent some future cheaters, and make it much tougher to collude in the games.

"Next, please review the hands copied below and explain your strategy and thinking during the play of the hands."

This is a great way to evaluate if a member has cheated, and a lot of information could be gained by knowing the suspect's thought process. None of the sites in New Jersey do this, and many player's will cheat while playing. Even though this might inconvenience some of the innocent players, actually it will catch colluders and prevent a ton of cheating.

I am a second year Mental Health Counseling graduate student, and a very avid poker player(played around 1m hands last couple of years). I would be very interested in talking about focusing techniques, goal-setting, relaxation techniques, positive self talk, and anything else related to the mental game of poker. Please let me know if this group is running!

Second Hand: Interesting bet on the turn. Did you perceive the villain to have a flush draw? Betting around 50% there will usually get the bad players fishing for a flush. However if you bet around 60-70% they might fold. They might think they are getting a great price to call on the turn, and not realize they are a 4-1 dog.

I think it is fine to comment on the old videos, just don't get salty if you don't get a response. The pros are very busy, and don't have time to reply to every single comment

Very good idea. Would be fun to exploit the pros based on their vids :P

Looking forward to watching this. Tyler is one of the best pros on here, and is underrated. He always has very good content, and is very good at articulating advanced concepts.

To anyone that is reading: I am very busy right now with my business and spending my free time studying crev. I will not be able to put in as much hours or input as I would like, and I am sincerely sorry. I purchased crev a couple weeks before I made this thread, and would like to learn more from that before moving to PLO theory. I will chime in from time to time for the skype group.

Awesome! Glad that there is a lot of interest in this group. I previously made a group for PLO8 on 2p2, but it died after a few months. It started off really good, but over time people stopped contributing. Based on previous experiences I think it would be best to schedule a time to chat, and stick to it.

The main winner in all of this is the ChoiceCenter.

Alright awesome!

I was thinking we could discuss different theories, training articles, videos, books, hands, and anything else relating to Omaha. It would be great to bounce ideas off each other and help one another out. I will add everyone tomorrow and try to get something going. I really hope that we can all be consistent with this, and be dedicated 3-4 hours each week.

Awesome! I will add you to skype tomorrow.

He could have possibly done much better if he played under his original screename. If anything he scammed himself by doing this.

Very disappointed to hear this scandal involving Hastings. He seemed like a very nice and generous person. One of my first posts on the forum involved a hand with AA. Hastings gave me great advice on how to play AA in that situation and I always thought of his post/comments when I had AA in that type of situation. I was very happy that he responded.

Hastings I know your ego will make sure you read every good and bad post about you!! Please do the right thing and donate some $$ to charity!!!

Very good stuff!! Hopefully more of us can make some Summer Log's and give each other advice along the way. I am going to start a SNG grind next week if anyone would be interested in talking strategy etc.

Wow! What a Final Table!! Very disappointed that I missed a possible stream. Will this be broadcasted on TV?

Really looking forward to this!! Will you be using PokerSnowie or GTORB?

June 27, 2015 | 7:35 a.m.

Ahhh... GG Sauce. Very well played. Not to sound like a "Monday Morning Quarterback", but would it be more optimal to pass on this +EV spot and wait for the next game variant to start?

  1. Where did you plug in this information about ranges and equity we have vs them? Also, how did you know chances of flopping two pair etc, flopzilla? Mathematically this is a fold, but we are still very deep and it is only costing us 1BB. I think you are 100% right about folding when we have 50bbs or less. However based on the fact we have 89BBs and have a skill advantage it does not hurt to see the flop. I would be more devastated the 4% of the time I flop 2pr plus and did not see flop!

  2. Less implied odds vs. short stacks. Perhaps you are right with SPR, I never came across this concept despite watching many videos + reading books.

  3. Right, I am not questioning it being a +EV shove. However we do not have to shove every small edge that we come across. Do we even know his calling range here?!

Do you have any recommendations for analyzers/ poker tools for PLO? I am looking to improve my game by purchasing Poker Juice and anything else you can recommend!
