Thanks for your comment.

I like to think I am better the more chips I have because I play a more exploitative style. However, I never studied much with these stack depths. I do have some experience with it from the early stages of tournament play.

I am building a bankroll, is there anything to say in that regard? Because it can influence your winrate significantly if you play these big pots

Sorry if this info/topic is already on here but I could not find a search option.

I am currently playing 100NL coming from MTT mid stakes. Currently beating 100NL for a few months, but still loads to improve.

I was wondering when it is smart to cash out and sit in with 100BB again. It happens sometimes I am 300/400bb deep and I get AA/KK flips for stacks, or let's say boat vs boat/flush/flush situations. Is that part of the game and is the advantage to stack somebody that deep weigh in more then losing it from time to time?

Is there a rule of thumb here?

Thanks in advance

PS; I am playing fast forward/zoom

Nice video series!! Like the thinking process.
1st hand. Villain could not have Qh10h or Jh9h? You think he will check/raise or stab turn? Those could be hands he would call river with as well, although he would be in a pretty tough spot. But if you have a bluffy/loose image I guess you get called 2 often? What do you think?

Thanks for your complete answer! Will watch some more cash-game vids as well.

Hi Owen!

Thanks again, I really enjoy your video's!
I have a question considering min-opening with a short stack. I noticed you talk a lot about min-opening hands with small stacksizes.

In this particular case, since it is 2x turbo and everyone is pretty short, not many people will play back and the main thing to consider is (indeed) re-shoving.

But I find that in (mainly) regular turbo's there are often 20+BB stacks (and off course sometimes also shorter stacks then that) that will play back at my min-opening, defending button or BB for example. I therefore often find it hard to min-open of-suit broadways or even hands like AJs/AQs/AKs or some pocket pairs because you can easily be out-flopped.

When it is non-turbo I have less problems with this, but since losing a pot being short can often kill me in a turbo, I'd rather open-shove some hands. I often become card dead afterwards and I don't want to bleed below (let's say) 7BB as a consequence of min-opening a hand that could have gotten a fold if I open-shoved it. Instead I rather prefer to open shove and pick up the blinds and antes then lose the (s)pot.

For instance, depending on my table off course, I often open-shove J10s with 15BB from early position. Or let's say AJo with 17BB from early position. I do have a balanced shoving range I think and they are always +EV. But not always optimal maybe when I see your approach.

What is your opinion on this? Should I just be more confident in my post-flop game? Do you adapt your min-opening/shoving balance to stack sizes and playback abilities of other players at your table?
I noticed I probably also do this to soon in regular tournaments. Should there be a (big) difference in my min-opening/shoving balnce in regular versus turbo games (or maybe 2x,3x turbo)?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Ciao

I also jam Q8o there, it is the bottom of my range. Why is it -EV shove then? U calculate shove ranges? Do you use shove chart? If so which one?

Nice video! Good to shape up my basic game, much appreciated.

At 17:45 you say you still min-open KJs with 17BB. I tend to open shove KJs when I get on 20BB or lower from any spot, what is your opinion on this?
When do you open shove this hand and when do you min-open? What are your considerations?
(I do try to watch out for table dynamics and there are some situations (sometimes on bubble for instance) I min-open but most of the time I just get it in because it is an easier play for me.

Cool vids, really like the clean audio and the work flow with dragging in tables, much appreciated.

At 11min. Why do you check river? 2 induce? He might call value bet if you rep busted flush draw? Maybe he has AK/1010 (or 77/55) like you mentioned, off course then he would prolly not check back. So why no value bet? Also he does not get to see your hand if he folds 2 your value bet, that is worth something as well right?

Thanks Chris, I already thought so and I meant VPIP instead of VPP, little mixup with the stars bonus lol.

Hi Simon,

1st off, thanks for your video. Very helpful so far.
Maybe a stupid question, however since only recently I started using stats, but when you talk about someone who has 22 & 16 (top left of player stats), what does this mean?
I assume 22 is the percentage of VPP, but what does the 16 mean then?
Anyone else also prolly knows the answer to this question, so feel free to give me a heads-up :)
