the only reason ive made any money in the last 4 months is beacuse ive been forced to play some 100nl

Hey Jeff, thanks for the responce.
I play on ignition. Ive been through several 15-20 buy in downswings before. Im used to that. What is killing me is the EV.

I get that there are long break even and losing stretches in poker. I have been staring at the pokerdope variance calc alot lately. But it doesnt have anything specifically about running below 'all in ev'.

This image is my all in preflop spots for the last 4 months. It doesn't seem statistically possible to run that bad after 1150 hands.

graph 2 - lifetime 200z

Has anyone been through a run like this? starting to lose my mind. Keep telling myself it has to end soon, but i havent been able to catch a break.

Started off this month hot, thought i was finally going to make some EV back but, nope. Lost 15 buyins in the last two days. (ICC actually missed a few losing hands so its worse than the graph shows).

Would like to hear from others who have been through something similar. I used to always dismiss the rigtards as fish who dont understand the game, but after a run like this their points are starting to resonate with me a little more. I hope im wrong, i love poker and really don't want to give up, but feeling a bit hopeless at the moment.

why do you think anybody in this thread wants to hear your opinion? Everybody blatantly stated that they do not agree with you. But for some reason you feel the need to come back a month later... no one cares.

Diego Ramirez I tried to run sims like you did in the video for BTN v BB srp. Problem is when I use 5 flop sizings,3 turn, 2 river, the tree is too big for my computers memory (like 13000mb).

What would you recommend editing to make my tree smaller? If I change the stacks from 100bb to 80bb, the tree is a more reasonable 9000mb. Would you recommend I do this, or take out 2 of the flop sizing's?

Which would give me a more accurate result to an actual GTO solution for 100BB flop play given my computers memory restrictions?

Thanks

Your wrong tho. My hourly on ignition is more than double any job I can get before I get my degree. And that's just playing nl100. Im in the process of moving up to where I have the opportunity to make much more. Im more addicted to not working for someone else than online poker. Theres a lot more money to be had on the site than you think, you probably just cant see it cause you aren't very good.

After that I’m not so optimistic, but I’m going to take advantage of the soft games right now while I can

Idk I trust them to a certain degree. They’ve been around for almost 20 years and have a very good reputation with payouts. I’m not sure why you feel so strongly about this. For me personally, I believe that I can have a better quality of life playing on ignition while I finish up my last two years of college then working some shit job. I think the games will be good enough for the next 5 years to make a comfortable living.

Incase you cant see the board/action.

Why is it that PIO prefers to call A2/A3 over TT and AK? I would think TT/AK has better blockers than A2/A3, plus TT/AK has more EV.

the games are soft as hell man. Idk what your talking about.. constantly have atleast 2+ players marked as huge fish on every table at 100 and 200 nl.. The rest are passive regs, and maybe one sometimes two good regs per table. Also not uncommon to be seated at a table full of fish on the weekends.

SetMineUrAss all I hear from that is you used to be able to beat the games but cant anymore. Blame yourself for that, not the site. Plenty of people are making substantially more than min wage on ignition. Just beause you cant doest mean its not possibe

You just have to set up a block chain and a coinbase account. If you need assistance, you can call ignitions phone number , and ask to speak to their bitcoin rep. They will help you get set up and give u a nice deposit bonus. GL

Do have any evidence to support these claims your making about ignition? I play on there all the time and the games are extremely soft. If it’s as bot infested as you say I don’t mind, because the bots must be horrible.

1-ignition
2-bitcoin
3-don't think they ask for any documents

ive heard some good things about global poker too. Just stay away from ACR imo, unless you like a lot of tables.

Edit. First example should be sb v btn 3 bets pots, not Bb

Post | SO77 posted in Chatter: Using Pio Solver for Anonymous games

Hello,
First post here on RIO.

I recently bought PIO and have some questions regarding setting ranges when you play in an anonymous environment (ignition). I don't play Zone so im not able to data mine for population stats.

Ill use an example.

Im looking at SB v BB 3bet pots. Trying to get a feel for what the average BTN's flatting range looks like in this spot, I went to my database (about 250k hands) and looked at my SB 3 bet success % and found it was 41%. Assuming that average BTN RFI is 40%, this would mean the pop is continuing vs my SB 3bet with 27% of all hands. This seems pretty high to me, and is a lot wider than the range I picked out for BTN when I ran my first sims. First of all wanted to clarify that I am doing the math right, and if so would my results be more applicable to the games I play in if I re run my sims giving BTN a 27% range?

I often have trouble coming up with flatting ranges as well. rough example: if I think some people are 3 betting linear in a specific spot and others are 3 betting polar, should I just put most hands at partial frequency? since some V's have hand "x" in their range 100% and hand "y" 0%, and for other V's it is the opposite.

Nevermind, I think I found it..

Assuming you check the appropriate box in the "force flop actions" option.
