No, no.. I am just seeing that as a first step from the bottom. Of course the idea is keep moving up but I think it is important to focus on milestones or goals and this why I am asking advice about this.

Hi there folks,

I have been away from the tables for 3 years playing full time 10s and 25s spins but didnt enjoyed it, then I quitted and never looked back.

Now I have a stable financial aspect and job with free time and would like to invest time in poker because my love for the game and I would like to start from the bottom and going thru the jungle of Cash 6Max.

I would like to ask opinions about if winning at 6-7bb/100 at nl25 is doable and opinions about steps or advice to get there, at least to start.

Thank you for your time.. cheers !

Regular tables, but reg skill-set difference overall is my question

Nov. 16, 2016 | 8:39 a.m.

Yes, thanks :)
But what about the skills that differenciate good regular players from different stakes?

Nov. 16, 2016 | 6:04 a.m.

Thanks a lot!
I would like to know which are those skills and which are most needed in one stake to another in order to know where am I lacking skill or what I need in relation with another average regs.

Hi there,

I wanna ask about which is a good winrate in nl10 to nl100 and which is a really good winrate today in 2016.
Also, I wanna ask main differences beetween good regulars of different stakes:
Skills needed to be good nl10 reg:
Skills needed to be a good nl25 reg:
.. and so on including nl50 and nl100..!

Thank you very much

OTF I prefer to call him, if you raise him you are going to play an uncontrolled pot and you need to prepare to shot twice any non-Ace turn and/or river
Maybe the opponent is betting with a 7x or a random gutshot?
I can't see many Jx

BTW, what about an overbet instead of 75% after his check OTR?

1 Trips (AQo/AQs [not many random KQs])
2 Full Houses (random 88, TT)
1 Non-5b-KK
1 JJ

Two hands looking for SD.
Three hands looking for bust you.
Maybe a random AKo/AKs looking for bluff your check OTR?

I don't know which hands are gonna call too barrels in a 4B pot to bluff any river we check.
Is the fold a bad option? Is anybody capable of call two streets and bluff OTR with AK?

Sept. 25, 2015 | 7:06 a.m.

I don't like the pot size bet OTF neither.

Maybe he thinks you are trying to steal the pot by 4Bing, but with those two postflop calls I put him on AQ, TT or JJ. Maybe some random KQs, 88 and 99?
I don't know if that readless player is capable trapping and not 5Bing with KK.

If AA player is gonna call any bet after a check OTR, I prefer to shove to extract max value from any weaker hand looking for SD.

Sept. 25, 2015 | 6:27 a.m.

Which hands checkraise a readless player that sizing OTF?
I think our TP is not good enough right there, not many hands 3B your CB so big I think so.
I cant see any Ax suited in opponents range and anyway I don't know if a random player would make that play very often.
You have the "Kh", so there are no Kx suited.
So agressive.. a random readless agro player? I don't know...
I don't love this, but maybe you can 4B his 3B OTF to see his real strenght but if he goes AI you need to fold but anyway your hand is very vulnerable with a lot of cards coming on the next streets with so much action.

OTT if I call that checkraise I feel mentally commited with Top2P but OTR I am crying very much and fold.

Hi there!
Which number of hands is a "correct"/decent/good monthly average playing HUNL?

Thanks =)

What about a really big XR OTF?

April 19, 2015 | 8:59 p.m.

It's a problem checking the river and take it to the SD?
Probably all the 3b top range CO vs UTG from a readless beats you OTR(with that "J").. ?¿

April 19, 2015 | 8:25 p.m.

Which is the sizing/s of 4betting this hand preflop vs CO and with which goals pre/postflop against this kind of 3b sizings and a pretty readless enemy?

April 19, 2015 | 8:20 p.m.

How many tables at the same time? I'll be starting monotabling the first weeks doing a transition from SnG to Cash (HeadsUp both!)

April 19, 2015 | 8:07 p.m.

Ts and crazy draws are betting OTT after XC you OTF maybe and I dont see the point of doing it with a very strong hand/"999TT" (99).. but yeah, maybe if the enemy bets OTT after XCing OTF, can do it either with "99" but..
I can't see many hands trying to bluff in this spot OTR.
Maybe its better for "Hero" to bet OTR?

Comment | Sivartha commented on is Triple worth it?

I don't see another way to win this pot played on the way you started playing it but being kamikaze; if I start barreling OTF and he calls after checking, I keep doing it OTT and OTR.. Is that right???
Anyway, I hate kamikaze style in this spot and I putted my opinion before.

Comment | Sivartha commented on is Triple worth it?

Why don't wait and probe the turn and the river if he shows weakness before?
He is the agressor and is 3betting preflop anyway.. so.. ¿?

April 18, 2015 | 1:03 p.m.

Why the enemy is not betting in that wet flop?

April 18, 2015 | 12:46 p.m.

Is not this J horrible to strike the river even when he checks the turn?
Doesn't look weak to shove the river against a Qx range?
Even if the enemy calls with Qx, is that an horrible call?
Doesn't look weak the enemy's check in the turn or could he be covering his strenght?

April 18, 2015 | 12:36 p.m.

But we are not the preflop agressor and we don't know how powerful are the enemies ranges (it's a 3B multiway pot).
Anyway in that kind of flops most of strong hands from enemies (trips/fullhouse) will check either.
What do you say about this?
Can't we probe the turn and the river (we have position over our enemies) as a bluff or as a value (if we hit our card) anyway?

April 18, 2015 | 12:20 p.m.

What about value betting smaller (1/3 of the pot p.e.) to fold any raise?
Why the UTG doesn't shoot the third barrel?
It's because of he expects to us to bluff with a busted draw or a bluffcatcher/marginal hand?
Or it's because he thinks that any weak hand is not gonna pay anymore? Or both?

April 18, 2015 | 12:16 p.m.

Why not checking the flop?

April 18, 2015 | 12:04 p.m.

Hi there!
I'm new in RIO and wanna ask about average winrates, average monthly hands in HeadsUpNL/PLO 50-400.
I wanna know also if there is some difference beetween the two games and their rakeback.

Thanks!
