Is it okay to check/raise on the turn?
My thoughts were that if villain want to stab and have something like Kx he is more inclined to call the c/r than to call 2 more streets. (Also he could have flushdraws ...)

Or would you better play without that read and go for all 3 streets bet/call or bet/fold?
On this board however I nearly never see me bet/folding more like on a DRY board.

I thought im pot commited here?
check/fold better? or check/call your opinion please.

This tag have high fold2cbet and bet vs missed cbet stats, thats why I played it so.

Well but in my opinion we are flopping rarely well so yes I would fold 2 often to 3bets but I didn't pay him the extra 6 BB. My guess is that we are calling for unexploitable ranges? I mean so that we don't only have broadways in the calling range?

Jan. 24, 2016 | 1:22 p.m.

Why is it good to call then preflop if we are folding against him on the flop?

Is it good to call preflop here? Yes I have Position and an "okay" Hand but how can I play it profitable?
I mean I have like 2 outs to hit to get a set. Or I have to hit an Board which consists of cards lower than 9x so I have an equity advantage.
Even if I hit a Board with like 998 Villain can cbet and hope to improve on the turn (every highcard like Tx is good for his range and bad for my) 24 Outs * 4 -> 48% Equity. So if I want to play 88 this way i need to get it in on the Flop to get him to fold or charge a high price for his outs.

Or I can play it as Bluffcatcher Hand which I did on this Flop.
I thought about his 3Betting Range is something like this: AA-66,AKo-AJo,KQo,AKs-ATs,KQs-KTs,QJs-QTs,JTs,T9s,98s

First I thought he don't have to many Q's in his range however he Flopzilla proves me wrong:

So 58/122 Combos this means half of the time he won't hit the flop. So I called hoping that he didn't hit it. Also his 3Bet CB Value was high confirming my thoughts.

Then on the Turn I called again because the 4 is a blank card and villain is an aggressive lag. However If I multiply the frequencies can I better determine his range ? I mean checking how often he bluffs here and how often he have value hands? On Turn he have 65% Cb which I thought means that he cbets like very much of the turns because the cbet turn value should be much lower.

River is check/check I don't see him folding better hands or paying with worse.

SB did raise 4h5h. So I did run into quads.

Comment | aizen commented on A9o BTN vs 2 Limper

I agree with Disharmonist, against what are you "value" betting and again what ranges are you bluffing better cards? You can get value from maybe one street with Kx Cards from villain I think. You don't have to protect your hand and you don't want a big pot.
On Flop I would check and make a very delayed river bet. So maybe the Kx Cards can call me or some middlepairs.
Against the raise on turn its an easy fold even with a set. (He won't bluff as often enough, or do it with worse hands than yours.) I would even think about folding up to AQ on that raise.

Thanks for your answer. :)
I mean the SB Calling range after UTG has called. Usually I think they adapt their range to call a bit more (like the suited connectors)

Both players are loose fish the one which calls me is 55/2 the other 77/11
Would you just check/fold this flop against this players?
I thought maybe they fold because I can represent a Qx Hand here however I also think they will call with anything which does in some way hit the board like 5x,6x,Qx, gutshots, oesds, flushdraws
Is here my fold equity to low to CB?
I made it only half size because I think the villain don't care so much about betsizes on the flop. If I make it a bit smaller it don't have to work so often.

Should I raise the flop cbet?
My thoughts here: if the fish is gonna call and the remaining flushcards appear OR an ace appears I have good chances to get his full stack, because he can't fold his hand.

I have arround 12 Outs which makes arround 48% equity. + Fold Equity (I think the tag is nearly folding everything except TP+ / OESD/ or a weaker FD) which all have great reversed implied odds against my hand.

The other play would just be to call with the odds I get a great price there and the fish is maybe never folding a gutshot, oesd, flushdraw, 8x, 9x, kx

Tag is 23/19 with AF 4
Check/raise turn is 8% with reasonable sample size.

Would you fold here? What exactly is 8%? Always better than what I have currently have?

I thought about his calling Range is something like this (Flop):
QQ-22,AQo-AJo,KQo,AQs-ATs,KQs-KTs,QJs-QTs,JTs,T9s,98s,87s

Turn I would give him for the check/raise range:
QQ-TT,ATs,KTs,QTs,JTs,T9s

This Range have much more Equity than my Hand however I thought he could do this for example with some weaker Tx's which I beat. But as combo wise I think he have just much more hands which beats me and not the other way round.
(8 Combos which I beat and 13 in which he beats me) 2 combos for tie.
This assumes that he would check/raise with T9s? I am not so experienced in the micro stakes because I am starting to play again but I guess he wouldn't do that with T9s, JTs and QTs ...

Is it correct to fold on the turn? Are tags bluffing here too much so that I have to call because the check/raise range on the turn looks so strong?

Interesting Spot. Is limp/calling in 6max on this limit a sign of a fish? For me it looks like a fish. And because he is betting so big and I don't have a history of him I would probably fold on the turn. I would think he have something like a weak flush draw (K2s-K9s,T5s-T8s, and such..) I can't see of any other card that have improved. I think with high broadway card he would have raised preflop.

April 4, 2015 | 7:03 p.m.

I never considered a Gutshot like this in my bluffing range on the flop. But I am only on micro stakes atm. I would call Flop one time and fold to a turn barrel. (Heads - Up) MW I would just fold.

What Range would you think UTG have?
I guess KK+, AQ, 88, 66 and AsKs

or am I completly wrong?
