I railed a bit and think the site looks really good.

I am a tournament player and I will certainly come and play your tournament schedule when you launch it. Would love to deposit a couple of buyins and come and splash around in 20nl to try it out but then I don't want to miss out on the full deposit bonus. Likewise I don't want to deposit €500 and have it sitting there not being used until you introduce tournaments - so the generous but only one time deposit bonus has actually resulted in me not depositing yet. GL and I'm sure I will hit the tables soon.

Recently started a midstakes MTT study group on Slack - which is similar to discord. If anyone is interested then hit me up!

Just so I followed the hh right. It went pat pat on the last draw?

I don't think this guy can play Triple Draw very well so I think you need to call down. He just completed pre and then drew one. So his initial draw would surely be super rough, also leading into a pat hand, big mistake. I think surely he can have 87s in his hand here and even a few 9s or straights? I don't think you can fold.

Andre, if my opponent had AK or AA do you think they would raise the river for value. It is likely correct but I believe he might take the conservative option and just call, bearing in mind if he shoves and I snap him off then he is out of the tournament in 5th which would be a disaster for him.

To Sam Squid. I am trying to think of which hands he could get three streets of value from me. There really aren't many considering he has two of the kings. I thought about what I would do if I had AK and if I would play the same, maybe so. With AA I would suppose I am 4 betting pre. If I have 99 then he is getting all the money anyway on the river. So perhaps the check wins him extra money sometimes? So I guess I like it. Also gives me the chance to catch up a bit and get stubborn.

I still feel ok about pre, flop and turn. River I am not very sure. I suppose I lean towards bet fold, but I would bet a bit bigger, but I have enjoyed reading the comments.

Results, I watched the replay and he had KK, so I was always gonna lose some chips. Could have been worse if I had gone crazy on him.

Five handed at a SCOOP final table $215 buy in. The villain in this hand is a British midstakes reg. Someome who I had anticipated coming into the final would be very ICM aware and play good. I respect his game. Nevertheless this is a huge final for him as it is for me. I guess he probably knows me in some way, but we haven't played a tonne of hands together or have a huge history.

Payouts
5th: $47,370.50
4th: $62,974.90
3rd: $91,954.50
2nd: $129,850.90
1st: $174,359.20

I came into the final second in chips but have been handcuffed by the chipleader on my left and as a consequence played pretty tight.

I am utg five handed and villain is on the button. I have him covered by 2bbs. We both currently have just over 50bbs and are sitting in 3rd and 4th. There is one shorty with 15bbs.

It's 8 game and the opponent is pretty unknown as I believe this is the first run through 2-7 in the mix and I haven't played much 8 game in the past several months so I don't know him.

I guess we have several options here, we can call or raise and then we can break or pat. If we raise it is possible but unlikely that we can get a better hand to break, but at least if he three bets we can then just call and throw the 8 and draw to a 7.

We could also call and then freeze by patting behind as we assume he will pat third. Then I guess we can fold if he bets river?
