Enjoyed this video series. Would definitely like to see a 3b OOP video.

13:05, Table 1 - You mentioned you're betting ~60% to imply you are value betting trips at worst. What combos of hands end up with trips on the river would you take this line with? I feel like a lot of the trips you value bet on the river would be betting flop. A queen that picks up a fd on the turn is possible, but a lot of those hands also would have a gutshot on the flop and be worthy of a bet then? Thanks.

Comment | Portillos commented on $1/2 all spots...

Tad too loose of an open. Need knowledge knowing button/BB overfold. Probably fold to 3-bet knowing it's going 3 ways. As played, have to jam flop.

Great video. I like the concept of two pros evaluating play. I particularly like Table 3, 14:00 where Ola originally thought betting is fine and then after some thought explains why he likes checking. With that being said, you mentioned betting 40% pot on the river. What's the worst flush you would do that with? Would you be betting that small with nut/2nd nut flushes?

Good video. Hand 1: What's the plan on a turn that pairs the board?

Last hand is a pretty interesting spot. I think I like it though. Queens-up is almost always jamming turn. You will unfortunately run into kings-up a non-zero percent of the time which isn't going to fold, but I think you will get missed naked Q/K high flush draws to fold.

I enjoyed/agreed with the thought process with all these hands except for hand #2:
1) You heavily block villain's double-barrel bluffing range (QJTx, JT8x).
2) You bet big because you are polarized, so I assume you are really only betting 68xx here. After your flop call, you have little 68xx in your range (K68x, 968x(?)). I agree that the river hits you more than villain, but still doesn't hit you enough to justify bluffing. If I'm villain, I'm never folding a set and find it difficult to fold kings up.
3) I much prefer check/raising as a bluff like you briefly mention since your 68xx would be pretty hidden.

With that being said, this bluff probably helped you get a call in the very next hand. Thanks for the video.

+1 to this. 3B preflop is too loose barring a strong read. Call preflop. After 3-betting, I would check the flop. As played, pretty easy fold.

Hand 1: What % of the time are you 3-betting vs calling with AJxx?
Watched you a little bit on LATB last night and thought you played very well.

17:00 min, bottom left - Do we have a c/c range on the flop if we are folding here? 856x? Are we protected by the other 4 players in the pot that it doesn't matter much?

Good video.

Last hand on the right - Not a fan of shoving river when opponent hasn't really been overaggressive throughout the match. Your shoving for value range is really thin with how you played the hand. 86xx and perhaps 83xx. While shoving 83xx is nice to balance your value hands vs. bluffs in this spot, I don't believe it's +EV. It will be hard for villain to fold a naked 8, but I don't really see many of those in his range with how the hand played out. You mentioned 987x, but I don't think villain is playing that hand this way based on the first two parts of this video.

Looking forward to future parts of this series.

Have a couple of comments/questions:

10:10 Table 2 - How close is this between a check vs bet on turn? I find myself checking in a spot like this and want to know how big of a leak it might be. I know it's very player-dependant, but just wondering in a vacuum. If the hand at 12:54 on Table 1 occured before this hand, would you seriously consider a hero call on river? The shove looks bluffy, but you do have blockers to the mini-wrap.

35:17 Table 2 - I check back as well.

36:33 - LOL at both boards.

While there were some periods of silence, I really enjoyed this video and look forward to more videos in the future.

Solid video. Looking forward to next part of the series in hopes of seeing some tough/interesting spots with seat 2 on the bottom right table.

Agree there weren't many interesting spots. Perhaps you can do a hand review video of some tough spots after you get in a few 500z sessions? Glad to have you back.

Really enjoyed this video. It’s a nice change of pace from standard videos and one I’ll have to rewatch to really improve my game. The ranges look pretty spot on, but I’m still really surprised how infrequently P4 is calling (~26%) in all scenarios.

P3 folding KKxx with clubs seems like a big mistake.

My one question: Was there an option to run it twice in this game? If so, how much (if at all) will that increase each players calling range, specifically P4 when folded to him?

I'm about half way through the video and enjoying it thus far. Not sure if it's just my computer, but I'm constantly hearing a soft drumming sound throughout the video. It's not a big deal, but it's rather annoying.

I enjoyed this series, specifically the later parts as you get into some interesting deep spots (like the KQQ4). Figured I mentioned this as you brought up how you might not get as many views for later parts of series. If I had to choose, I'd prefer the 2/5 apotheosis series over this one, but agree with what Mulder said that it doesn't really matter when the content is this good.

Comment | Portillos commented on Live OFC Session

Really enjoy these OFC videos. Nice change of pace from PLO/NL videos. I don't have much to comment on as I'm rather inexperienced in this game. For the fantasyland at 29:30, wouldn't the ideal formation be:

KKK
5689T
23456

Looking forward to more of these videos. Thanks.

Another great vid. One question at ~47:15

You fold the 9 high flush to a half-pot bet without talking about it since the hand on the bottom left was such an interesting spot. Is this standard? Is it close to call on river and evaluate?

Feb. 17, 2015 | 5:24 a.m.

I'm also interested in what you think villain's worst 2p hands that bet flop are. Do you believe villain would bet something like T967 on flop? JT9x?

Really enjoyed this vid.
