And thanks for the video, this is exactly what I was looking for when I searched the subject.

Tommy, what do you think about the duality between concentration and meditation, as Osho have talked about? When we focus on our breathing, it's a form of concentration, thus we would be deviating from medidation's true purpose. Is it that the mentioned "concentration" in breathing is not really a concentration, but maybe a more natural form of perceiving it?

26:22 : Kc2c - I do think it's a good bluffcatcher. There was 9k in the pot preflop, PKaiser would shove most of his aces pre, mainly against you. Also, Kc2c doesn't block any of his bluffing combos, so I do think it has a good ev for a call here.

Great video.

I really enjoy the format of these videos. Keep it up.

K9s @ 31:23 - I found it interesting how you really thought about folding this. I mean, I think we can expect him to bet his kings on the flop, otherwise he'd be too bluffy heavy, so why are you so disgusted with this bet? I understand this is not really a great spot for him to bluff, but he may think you overcalled the turn and maybe will fold the river? I really want to understand the discomfort with this combo, because this spot can mean a lot in terms of exploitative fold. I know this type of situation happens often (discomfort with a high part of your bluffcatchers) but I haven't quite understood why. Would like to see your insight about it.

The difference in explotability is because, if they know our strategy of only calling 66's for example, they can extend their value range?

Thinking about the most profitable way to play QQ otr, this is just going to be too hard to balance all these splitted ranges. Why not just put him in an indifference point with his range? Shove, put 12 combos of bluffs and your 22 combos of value (sets, A5s and QQ, I dont presume you would call with 9Ts pre) and let him cry. This solves how he should play TT/JJ, and QQ/KK/AA.

This is just very true. MTT's, specially, has this psychological component (some not only psychological, as icm), where players tend to call or fold in specific situations. There's no PioSolver for this, if you know what I mean. You must be playing an exploitable strategy all the time.

I think 97 fold is a very strong one, one of the highlights of the match for me. You'll be very much value oriented after checking back the turn.

I just would like to point how I think the 16k bet with so many possible bluffs in your range is brilliant, lol. Shoving for 40k seems you're representing only KQ, since he has all combos of KQ, so you wouldn't feel so comfortable to make this overbet with the 8's. And betting 32k might encourage him to call, since you have so many bluffs and this gives him better odds to do so (while also looking bluffy). But 16k.."Who would bluff 16k? Ofc he wants to be called, he has so many 8's and KQ, I have to fold" :D

Hello Sam
Really enjoyed the video specially since we don't get to watch ante up material often enough.
I thought your strategy was very good from start and couldn't really find any mistakes to point out.
About the last hand the TJo, if we were to bet the turn and river, would the river bet be an allin one necessarily? I'm guessing yes but was just curious about the sizing you would be taking on those streets.
Cheers,

Hey Lucas,

About the AA hand OTB , you said you should have shoved. Don't you consider 4betting to induce there? Like 4b clicking to 258k or something and giving him the room to make a mistake for all his chips with some Ax or Kxs or the rest of his value 3b range? Still in this, are we ever 4b/folding there ?

Thanks,
