Hi Phil,

I am an elite member and also a Vision user, just by using vision I have moved up from low stakes to mid stakes now (PLO 400 and 600) since last year. So thanks a lot for Vision.

I watched your recent videos where you talk a lot about simplifying strategies and range constructions. I feel a lot of low/mid stakes players will benefit a lot if you can release some video(s) on details on how you have simplified your strategies in hu and 6m and as well as if you can give practical examples and demos on how to do range constructions and heuristics.

That will be huge Christmas and New Year's treat for a lot of us. I hope you can make some videos on those topics.

Around the 35 min mark, at the top left table, when the villian pots the turn you say that we are supposed to flat when we don't have a club in our hand and pot get it in when we do have a club or two in our hand.
When I think about the spot I feel doing the opposite makes more sense...for example, when I don't have a club in my hand, the villain has more flush draws that he is barreling turn with which might fold if we shove, and when we do have a club or two clubs in our hand then it makes more sense to flat turn coz we block his flush outs so its less likely he hits flush on river and ends pot bluffing river?
What am I thinking wrong here as compared to the solver?

Hey!

I've stopped using all but the most basic info HUDs have to offer as I feel like there is way too much for me to think about, in terms of the individual the components of my hand. I believe it's for the best as most of the sites are now disallowing it anyway.

Do you still use it? And if not do you feel like you're missing out on much? Does it really matter if you're trying to get close to GTO in your post flop play?

TIA

Hey man, excellent vid as always.

How do you calculate the EV of shoving the turn in the last hand? I haven't run the sim but my guess is all wraps+FDs call so there are no combos shoving.

Hi Phil,
What an amazing video, I can only hope that one day Ill be able to think on this level.
I would be really grateful if you can make a similar video on playing Rivers (through Monker).

let's see a live play session with a lot of hands in. You could follow it up with the tough hands reviewed in Monker and compare it to your play.

If you're comfortable sharing, what win rates have you been able to achieve using such a solid understanding of GTO. Did you get to these stakes just by using Monker and a great work ethic? Your rise to these stakes in four short years is really inspiring.

Thanks for your input Michael, makes sense.

Hi All,

Below are my results so far in Pot Limit Omaha and No Limit Omaha for this year. It has been pretty frustrating for me overall, I feel I have been running terrible and not able to make any substantial $$. I need your thoughts on how much does the actual winnings vs All In Adv EV winnings matter. As you can see my All Adj EV Winnings and All in Adj bb/100 is far superior than the actual results.

How much should I be paying attention to those differences. Does it make sense to not look at actual winnings and only focus on All In Adj EV?? That will at least make me feel better about my game maybe.

Hello!

With all the categories in place for pre flop analysis getting some practice in those spots is not that tricky.

But for post flop sims I can't find an orderly way to learn. Has anyone got a set of boards and positions they practice?

Thanks!

hey gr8sahil19,

I run a youtube channel that discusses preflop Omaha strategy in great depth. Check it out at @MissionPossiblePoker.

Cheers!

Very good video!

At 27:00 both hands on the bottom tables I would have bet on the river about 1/4 pot especially the hand on the bottom left where you 3 bet an UTG raise. Very likely he has hands like 6s-Js and like you said you block AQ and AK (which you chop with anyhow). Also AJs is in his range which you beat. I agree with you that it is a tough spot when raised on the river however and you would have to call it off. It might just be you were timing down a bit and it is hard to make quick and smart decisions with little time while making a video. You thoughts?

I really like the HUD btw...where can I get the same layout?
