Because it is 9hands table ,and i see lot of tag and lag guy love raise limp(btn sit a loose guy very likely 3bet ),but if i raise pre from ep ,him probably just call i want made big pot on the flop.
flop villain call I think his range include AA AQ KK QQ JJ , all his hands I beat(JJ and it is very few) he does not want to call a turn bet and this hands less chance draw me out ,I want check the turn and bet river get more value .

The board is wet but you just call flop ,I think his just do not want you draw him out ,because turn look like a safe card for him and turn made board wet more ,so he still could bet very big on that turn with overpair or two pair .but if turn got 9 or T ,he still bet that 2x more pot size bet I am petty sure he got something big .And I do not kown why you call 89s on that flop out of positon ?
