update to my one responder, well here goes I didnt quit but joined firstly redchip then slove4why, and things improved, i got my hands on some great ranges and watched alot videos once a few key concepts sunk in like when to polarise, advantageous boards when to overbet and 3 bet, leveraging stack, i seem to have found a groove,, way to go but im getting returns and fun has returned again, nothing beats an upswing ...good luck and if anything light can be always foind out of any tunnel!

Interesting ,am i right to think. looks like overfolding works well as an exploit for you as population hasnt enough bluffs at every decision point in tree otherwise your win rate would surely suffer and you re better balanced and villains are overfolding too much vs your bluffs , if so i could fold more and maybe be profitable to villains value heavy betting range

Thankyou for your reply , and well done for winning with such a good rate over that many hands that must be a real confidence booster, and confidence in your game must surely help
knowing you have the tools in your pocket, I will continue study until the day, if ever, comes that I will saddle up and try again..

.my problem if I could put it in a nutshell is that I have studied here the concepts but they are all fragmentary and I cant get an overarching understanding of the game, I feel I need to find more on nuances of flop textures and their subsequent bet sizes (if any) to continue with, but this seems an enormous amount of knowledge and understanding
keep crushing

Hello.
My name is stewart, I hadn't played poker for many years but after a chance conversation with a work mate I decided to play, I put 30 dollars into a newly downloaded account, won $100in a tourney and played $55 dollar sat to a $500 dollar sat to a sunday million guarantee, some how i qualifified and managed to play well but just missed cashing, It hurt not making anything so I decided to keep playing putting all my spare monies into poker but i was so far behind my competitors, i decided to look into where the game was at, and never even heard of solvers etc and even the worst players had become better than me, okay i am intelligent, i have a degree, so i will learn and win, easy, no not easy i cant win, the whole poker reality is that its depressingly difficult to have a real edge, I will keep trying to learn while i have ability to watch videos and read a few books ,im broke good luck to all you starting out

hi,
just finished his course and loved it, really easy to follow and learned alot, stopped spewin mindlessly and now have an idea what's going on during a hand, ( need the same for PLO, love PLO but sooo bad ), so thankyou to the man himself. Best thing was his definition of madness, it really hit home, was what i was doing the same stuff and expecting different results, made me realise I didn/t understand the game which was tough to face but on the positive side i have finally became receptive to learning
