Is this even a call preflop in these games?

Oct. 15, 2019 | 1 p.m.

200 deep with main villian. 100 is other

raised UTG tt22dd

2 calls both have position on me.

flop t83ddc - i cbet close to pot, both call

turn Ac - is this a lead or check

leading seems like i will get called a lot with a ton of rivers ill be check folding potentially the best hand. checking thru does give them the free card but keeps the pot small with a ton of bad rivers for me. also gives them the chance to bet where happily jam.

200bb deep

ATQ6ddcc

I open hj, button 3 bets, i call

973hhc

I lead 2/3 he calls

Turn Js

I pot leaving double my pot size bet to call the all in if he shoves which I think with just the OESD I have to fold.

What are your thoughts on this line? what rives would you shove, non hearts?

yeah i guess the real question was is flatting more profitable. how bad is just flatting vs 3betting it in general. it seems very difficult to play out of position these mid pairs.

Is 3 betting 88 from sb vs button profitable vs a good player who is capable of 4 bets, bluff raises, and floats? I understand 88 is far ahead of the buttons opening range but it seems very difficult to play profitably out of position vs a competent player.

Hero (button) - Ah Qs Qd 3s

Folds to hero - Raise button

Sb call
BB call

Flop - 8s Jd 9s

Sb - leads pot
BB - folds
Hero - ?

I think this is just a fold but wasnt positive. Queen high flush draw and of course the two queen blockers but not sure they are too relevant?

the range of hands that you 3 bet when you are able to isolate and play heads up is much different than when the table dynamic is that of getting 3-4 cold callers of your 3 bet. i find this happens a lot in live games. so of course you want to go for pure value. what type of hands push your equity in games like this? middling rundowns like 6789ss? or mainly looking at high card combos and nut suits.

Playing live, 9 handed UTG raises, i call KQs, 1 other caller, guy from SB 3 bets, UTG flats

do you call this with KQs? 100-200bb deep. everyone is unknown

it used to be, at least for me, i assume the standard play from them and wont play back my self until i see evidence to do so. so i would normally assume utg raiser is gonna have a tight range, and i assume the SB 3 better would have jj+ , ak.

so i fold to the 3 bet.

i used to be a regular in the stars/ftp 2550 games. havent played in a few years. just started watching these sauce videos, seems like he would almost certainly have called that. which i dont understand. what flop am i hoping for? am i prepared to stack off if i flop a top pair? call once? twice? seems like no situation is great for me so i would think folding is perfectly standard.

what do you all think, would you have called this and why?

you should probably provide some analysis behind your post. fold flop because we put him on what exactly? we have 1 Q blocker.

vs this range on the flop we have 35%. i feel that range is pretty tight.

flop range we have 35%
qq,66,33,45,q6**

when the turn comes giving us the flush draw if you take that same range and add QJ to his range we have 45%

Turn range we have 45%
qq,66,33,45,q6,qj

im 28% vs sets and 2 pairs. so if u factor in any combo draws at all i should call im guessing? or do i just shove.

5-5 game (deep)

utg+1 raises to 20 (10k)
2 callers
Hero - Button - make sit 120 (2800)

everyone calls 4 players

*Hero - AAq5hh (ace suited)*

Flop Qs 6d 3h

Utg +1 leads for 400

All fold to me, I call

Turn Jh - pick up FD

Utg+1 leads for 1k.

Hero ? 2300ish remaining stack.

Reads
non really. some kid - dont think professional, sitting really deep. my image is very tight, so he probably puts me on aces.

I have the Q blocker to top set and QJ. so im very confused here. unless he has a random 66 or 33 which is very unlikely. i cant see how im beat. If i call, i dont see what rivers i can safely fold with only 1k remaining. its basically a 420 bb decision here without many reads and likely wont be crushing him with whatever combo draw he shows up with in best case(the bets were fairly quick, dont think its a stone cold bluff lead into 3 players, so no fold equity on a shove) If i knew this person was capable of bluffing or playing draws aggressively i perhaps would lean towards calling/shoving, but given that i knew nothing about him i opted to fold. what do you think?
