@36:00 seems like Zolotow has an easy STUD open with (QT)9 into a dead J, 4, 4.

@ 24:13 you say that you are obviously going to bluff the river with your jack-high, because when you call flop with 2 players behind you, your range is super strong. Then you bet pot because 'KQxx can happily bet pot'. But wouldn't you check-raise pot the flop with all of your KQxx?

great video. very helpful. thanks, Phil.

More short handed cash game would be excellent. Especially if you could do Archie or 2-7 single draw limit with the ante on the button. But whatever comes next is welcome. Thanks!

@ 37:43 you point out that if the J and T door cards behind you were switched, it should put a bit more pressure on potential split tens. That's some strong analysis. I had never had that thought before. Thank you very much!

@ 38:48 you face a 2-bet and you find that you have 35% equity. As you say, we have immediate odds to call, but you decided to fold. I know you have covered this in the past, but I still struggle with it. We will be forced to call bets as an underdog on future streets, so we will save money by folding the hand on third street. Is this concept specific to stud games? For example, in 27-TD or even limit hold em, we end up having some hands that are dogs across multiple streets, but need to call down as part of a balanced strategy. If you have time, would you briefly elaborate on this point please?

Thank you Iteopepe for another stone gem.

Another great video, thanks.

Yes, please do a part 2 for this, or 27-TD cash please.

Post | moose posted in PLO: Posting HH without PT

Hello,

A friend of mine has just started playing PLO and has been sending me hand histories from the micro stakes. I wanted to post a few of them, but he doesn't use HEM or PT.

Can someone recommend a good way to post his hand histories so they will be readable?

thanks,

Moose

Another great video Iteopepe, thanks.

Do you ever try to play a blocker hand when the pot has already been opened? for example you are SB vs a btn or co open, can we 3b with A256 all spades? If so, pat right away or draw one like Seiver did?

I know my sizing on the 3b needs to be bigger to give my range some fold equity.

I have zero history/reads/stats on villain.

Should I jam the flop?

As played, what about turn?

Any comments welcome. Thanks.

Comment | moose commented on Split: Playing Big Pairs

Great video ceegee- concise.

It seems like super stud 8 is swiftly taking over the live mix games. Obviously the big pairs are rarely playable in super stud 8.

Do you have any comments off the top of your head regarding big pairs in super?

True, with two A doors its more likely someone has AA already than if there was only one A door, but they still "block" each other (in so far as there are less aces in the deck).
