I'm 52 years old and have played poker since about 12 years old, starting with 7 card stud at my Grandparents' home on weekends. Like most, I got into Hold em after the boom in the early 2000's and played on and off at home games and a couple of small tournaments. I started playing again at a monthly home game (3 table MTT format) in 2019 and became obsessed with poker. I started reading books and watching videos on poker with an obsession, becoming a student of the game. I primarily play online in NJ at the moment, but prefer live play and want to start entering more tournaments in the near future. I am more of an old school type player, but am trying to learn more theory. With enough work and study this could be my new gig when I retire at 56!
