If you don't know what hand I'm referring to, the hand is Ben opens 88 2.5x ep and gets 3b by bb and Ben calls.
Flop 765ss, BB checks and Ben bets, bb calls.
Turn 3s, bb checks and ben bets 1/3 again.

So in the 567cc, turn 3s bringing backdoor spades hand. Pio says to always check raise JcJs and mostly check raise J with a club. Why is this? I've always thought of having a club or a spade in this spot has a negative blocker effect due to it blocking some potential bluffs IP player can have. Is it to potentially bluff flush completing rivers? or check/call flush completing rivers?

ahh, blocking villains high equity continues on turn after getting x/r'd is a very good point
