You probably want spades because OOP does not barrel many spade combos which unblocks river check folds

Excellent content! Please continue in this manner. Between you and Uri (allegedly lol) making more videos swung it to keeping the sub for me.

From all of us with various mental illnesses please align the tables lol

Oh I'm not sure how it works on Iggy - I thought once you import the hands into PT4 from card catcher it gets the showdown data, but I guess that's not how it works?

Dec. 26, 2020 | 8:24 p.m.

I think you can have PT 4 auto generate the hand matrix for a spot based on hands that have gone to showdown and it will color code it based on how frequent each combo is etc.

Linear range from SB limited by having 1 player behind in the BB vs a polar range from the BB that is unconstrained by having any players behind.

A lot of respect for coming out and saying that CFP sans staking is bullshit! Especially on rakeback deals etc. I stake and coach a couple guys myself and I would not like what I see in the mirror if I was taking someone's profit w/out staking.

Also for feedback please make more of this type of format content - this is very much what I wish was the bulk of elite content.

Odd to see no block used for probe, especially in the 2nd 6-max hand - what raise options did you give IP on the turn?

Dec. 6, 2020 | 8:06 a.m.

Very nice discussion re the JJ hand where you got it in vs AA on the flop in a 4-bet pot in terms what needs to be true for the play to be good or bad

This is really good - should make this into a series and break down other boards in 3-bet pots this way.

The population analysis is very valuable - this translates well vs any weak players / week player pool. You should make a series of videos fully dedicated to that going thru a bunch of spots if you are so inclined.

Fair enough. It's just something that has set me back personally some few years ago hence the trigger lol

Yes all global pools on 888 / party / stars are the same pool. However even GG poker likely has different ranges for WWSF if they had HHs. App games on PPP and Bros etc. will have a different range for WWSF. Fenced in games in Spain, Italy, Sweden and USA will have different ranges for WWSF. ACR and Ignition will likely have different ranges for WWSF. Live games will also if we were able to somehow generate that data. On top of all that WWSF range will be different between fast fold games and reg tables if people are selecting well.

My point is that you should be telling people to research their own pools and see what the values are for winners not telling them that the WWSF range for party / 888 / stars is the right one. This is misleading and will possibly cost up and coming players in pools different from yours to significantly err in what they focus on / give them an incorrect idea of their games / what they should be doing.

I'm positive this is not your intention and was never anyone's intention when giving this advice re WWSF and the red line but the end result is damaging confusion on the part of people who are not playing in the same pools as you.

Aug. 31, 2020 | 2:14 a.m.

If you are playing in soft games your WWSF will never be as high as it would be in a tougher game simply because you will be mway way more often. If you are starting games playing 3 and 4 handed your WWSF will also be higher because you will more often get a chance to open IP and get called by the BB. WWSF is a stat that is only meaningful in a specific player pool.

The WWSF flop conversation is a mystery to me. Been crushing with a WWSF of 44-46 for years. I know upswing did a study several years ago and WWSF was NOT predictive of win rate as long as it was in a range of something like 43-49 and once you got into the 50s the win rates actually dropped off. Yet a lot of people insist that it must be 48-50 etc. This stat depends A LOT on mway pots and how much 3/4 handed you play. This is like the red line conversation where many people insist it needs to be positive / break even when again this has been contrary to my experience and I'm positive in many games running a break even red line will for sure cost you.

What are you using for the RNG and positional labels and can it convert to bbs also?

Aug. 17, 2020 | 9:04 p.m.

Love the format - getting old and watching 4 tiny tables is not as awesome as it used to be 10 years ago lol

July 4, 2020 | 12:58 a.m.

Peak lock-down games eh lol

June 17, 2020 | 2:26 a.m.

Good format. We don't get any rakeback for seeing more hands get clicked thru lol

Feb. 8, 2020 | 6:44 p.m.

The review of the 1st hand is gold for SB vs BB play - IMO less hands and in depth coverage like the one for the 1st hand would be really good. Doesnt matter if you end up talking about 2 hands for 45 minutes if a bunch of good concepts come out of it.

Feb. 4, 2020 | 6:06 p.m.

Really nice video - reminds me why live plays became so popular in the 1st place - what do you know if you don't mail it in a live play can be a very good format.

Feb. 4, 2020 | 6:03 p.m.

Great video just one nitpick I guess but if someone is looking for videos on say 4-bet pots they would never know from the title and would miss out on all the good stuff. Just saying lol

Jan. 28, 2020 | 11:05 p.m.

Def stay with this format.

Jan. 22, 2020 | 2:39 a.m.

How did you guys do the recording with both cards showing and 2 RNGs?

Jan. 4, 2020 | 10:35 p.m.

Probably should be marked for cash also, not just mtt

Dec. 29, 2019 | 10:34 a.m.

Your best video so far imo!

Dec. 29, 2019 | 12:20 a.m.

This should be marked for cash also - they are well over 100bbs deep.

Dec. 28, 2019 | 1:04 a.m.

Sweet video - make one about under PPs - middling and low ones or separate but you get the idea. Probably a separate one for like TT and 55 since they end up in different lines.

Dec. 26, 2019 | 12:46 a.m.

Thanks for taking the time to figure out WHY something is happening in the solver!
