Hello I learned how to play poker about 3 years ago and I would play low limit cash games with friends and eventually we started playing low buy in tourneys. All my friends stop playing and I only got maybe about 6 months of experience. Then I just recently started to play again. Now in a local card club. Today was my second time playing 1-1. I am stuck 110$ after tonight. Does any one think a low limit game like this is a good place to learn? Pretty much all players at the table are calling with any 2 cards. No one raises preflop pretty much limp in every game even with pocket pairs. Every raise I made was called by almost the whole table every time. Got callers who called a bet every street with one pair. I feel like the experience from the players who play this limit is not going to improve my game at all. Any suggestions? I feel on a scale from 1-10 I'm about a 4 in skill. I don't play like a donk and i play relatively tight. I am playing to improve and become a solid poker player.
