Very nice format! Would love to see a part 2!

Sept. 27, 2018 | 12:29 a.m.

EP 2.2x open
Reg flat MP
2 weak players flat LP

Early stage

Sept. 1, 2018 | 3:55 p.m.

We are in the BB 100bb deep facing a raise and 3 flatcalls.

Do we defend 53s or 22? Are we too often dominated when we make our hand?

MP vs CO/BTN 10% 3b 50bb deep what do we defend vs a 3x 3b?

Post | zerodeda posted in NLHE: Problem with overbluffing

I hate to lose a pot and almost always end up overbluffing the river.
I try my best to check and give up more but i can't help myself...

My most used river bet sizing is 75% and usually i have around 40% bluffs when i use this sizing. To become balanced without adjusting my bluff/value ratio all i need to do is start betting 2x pot instead, right?

Would you recommend this simple adjustment or should i take the (for me)difficult path and bluff less and use "normal" sizings?

Post | zerodeda posted in NLHE: Tricky turn

I open the SB and C-bet 1/3 and then we get this tricky turn. My hand is too weak to check-call and if i bet i might get raised or called by a gutshot that bluffs the river when i check. So i decided to check(raise) 3.5x

What is your play?

Pio does alot of mixing between checkraise/bet small and call a raise or even 3 bet with this hand.

Post | zerodeda posted in MTT: Is trapping ever good here?

Button is aggro and coldcaller is the biggest whale i've ever seen. Normally i would shove here but i wanted to keep hijack in the pot as he literally is the biggest whale i've ever seen.
But still, is shoving the best play here to deny equity and pick up the variance free chips? And obviously if i flat i wont always get full value from buttons value range.

If i shove and they both fold i win 1300BB/100 and i really dont know if its possible to get a higher winrate here by calling?

Post | zerodeda posted in MTT: Tricky 3b spot

I open JJ 2.2x UTG and nitty villain 3b to 6bb effective stacks are 40bb

I think his range is is AK,QQ+ and maybe some AQo/AJo but it could very well be KK+ aswell

Obviously i have the raw equity to call but should i? Is 98s or A5s a better call?

EDIT: Is it possible to solve these spots in PIO or any other program?

This is one of the best training videos i've watched. I like the review a friend concept!

Post | zerodeda posted in NLHE: What to do on the river?

I flopped 2 pair and cbet flop and turn. On the river i have a pot size bet left.
I have 55% equity vs his range (109 combos) but vs the hands I THINK he is going to call me with (68 combos) i only have 38% equity.
I guess the GTO play is to shove so that i can bluff more?

But what is the most +EV play here as if i bet and get called im gonna lose most of the time?

Post | zerodeda posted in MTT: Call or shove turn?

So this hand happened on a final table me being 2nd in chips VS the chipleader.

I defend 89o vs btn ->flop 7s 4d Ts i call half pot ->turn Jd he bets 70% i have 31bb and the pot is now 17bb. A shove would give him 34% to call.
Do we shove to protect from draws because its a final table big stack vs big stack?

Also, would it be a ICM punt to shove turn with something like 56?

Comment | zerodeda commented on ICMIZER question

Isn't that the same as winning back 67% of the big blind i posted?

May 14, 2018 | 7:13 a.m.

Post | zerodeda posted in MTT: ICMIZER question

So im in BB vs btn open and icmizer says a shove is +0.67BB does that mean im gonna win back 67% of "my" big blind or 167%?

May 14, 2018 | 3:36 a.m.

Yep i agree with the value of keeping a healthy stack. But if i have a bigstack is it really worth it to open semi loose "just because i can call the shortstack and get the bounty"

I mean if you open 72o utg with 4bb stacks behind you obviously have a +EV call but the open must be -EV in first place

May 9, 2018 | 9:01 p.m.

For example im in MP with 97s in a bounty builder with 12bb stacks behind. I would not have the odds to call their shove if i didnt open but if i open i get the odds but its really close. Is it better to fold in these spots?

Obviously if i open its +ev to call a shove but i wonder if its -EV to price myself in

Post | zerodeda posted in NLHE: Call or fold vs nit?

We are in the BB with A4dd and unknown nit open 2.2x UTG with pfr 0/24 utg and 2/23 mp. There are antes and we need 18% equity to call which we obviously have. But we are so often dominated...do we still call? IF YES -> do we also call with 20bb stack?

May 8, 2018 | 10:56 p.m.

It was the start of my session and i had already registered 2 MTT's and somehow opened ICMIZER instead of Pokertracker.
I immediately realized my mistake and closed it within seconds. I didn't get a warning message or anything but im scared something is going to happen.

What is pokerstars policy on this?

Hi, great video! How do you get pokertracker to show RFI with different stacksizes?

Because i think he has AK like 80% of the time here

Post | zerodeda posted in MTT: Two interesting hands

HAND NUMBER ONE
Reg opens UTG 9handed and we flat AQ on btn. Flop=A67r we call 1/3 pot, TURN=2, he bets half pot and we call. River= J he bets half pot and i raise 3.5x to fold out AK. AQ is the weakest hand i have OTR other than KQs floats sometimes. Is this bluff "gto"?

HAND NUMBER TWO

Reg opens UTG we defend A2hh in BB FLOP=AQT with a diamond flushdraw. We call the cbet. TURN= 8 we call again (should probably fold?)
RIVER= K that completes the flush and we lead for half pot. What should i be bluffing with here? Would you recommend overbluffing as an exploit? Also what should UTG call the river with?

I guess i should buy a solver...

Post | zerodeda posted in MTT: 3 card flush boards

I need some advice how to play hands like this

We open AdJh and LP calls flop-> QhTh5d do we start barreling or check call? What if we have AhJd?

We 3b KhKd in sb and flop is 6h2hQd we cbet and turn is 5h do we check-call or bet? sizings?

Post | zerodeda posted in MTT: How to calculate bubble spots

I'm using ICMIZER but for large mtts it seems like you cant calculate bubble spots(?)

So how can i study push/fold ranges on bubble?

Also, If the buy in is 80$ and starting stack 3000 and mincash 160$ is the mincash worth 6000 chips?

Post | zerodeda posted in MTT: How to calculate bounty

Ok for example BB109 you get a 25$ starting bounty 100/25=4 5000 starting stack divided by 4= 1250 so one bounty is worth 1250 chips?

Lets say villain has 1250 chips at blind level 15/30 (42bb) he raises all-in. Do we call with any 2 in the bb? If Not, why?

Post | zerodeda posted in MTT: RFI with shortstacks behind

For example deep in a turbo you have A5s UTG as the chipleader and most of the stacks behind you are 5-10bb deep.

Is it better to fold this hand because its very likely that we have to call a ~8bb shove?

Obviously it depends on how often we expect to get the steal through etc etc but in general what is the play here?

Is it -EV to shove the turn with SPR 1 if i have 34% equity vs opponents range but im basicly dead vs his calling range?
